Needed some fresh scents, so I got myself versace man eau fraiche and L'eau d'issey pour homme.

Versace smells so good, fruity smell of citrus and apple-ish. Compliment getter.

L'eau d'issey opens with a citrus note (yuzu) that is very powerful at first, but dries down to a very woodsy scent for me.

Both are recommend, but my fave is Versace man eau fraiche.

Btw, nice collection there astroboy smile.gif
*
Hey there... thanks for the compliment... would like to know if anyone has other nice perfume to share... Im really into this... Cheers, fat_lip2525 biggrin.gif

Actually, I'm not familiar with it also, closest experience is tasting yuzu ice cream. IMO it's lighter than lemon, but same vibe.
*
fat_lip2525, are you referring to Yuzu by the house of Caron??

Thanks for your feedback smile.gif

I was considering either one of these few :

A*Men - Thierry Mugler

La Nuit De L'homme - YSL

Pour Homme -Joop

Fahrenheit - CD

What do you think? smile.gif
*
Vans1088, personally i think A Men falls a little sweet. La Nuit De'L'homme might be a good choice. But have you tried all these on your skin? How does it react to your skin?

No. Not really sad.gif . but i managed to smell some samples OTC except for Joop.
*
Then i suggest you going to any departmental store and dont wear any perfume on that day. try the few you are interested in. Cos whatever scent you sniff from paper might be different when on skin. Unless, you spray on clothes rather than skin. Joop, i think they are not selling in any departmental stores here. You have not sniffed Joop.. but why is it on your buying list?? Joop appears to have a very citrusy scent on my skin... but based on your choice of Le Male, the scent is more tender.. type of perfume. smile.gif Not so "the Joop" type

Added on December 6, 2012, 5:28 pmAnd not forgetting the very sweet and floral scent from it after an hour or so.. hmmmm

Nope, referring to the yuzu note in L'eau d'issey. Not familiar with that one u mentioned.

Oh... okay that Japanese Grapefruit Note, huh?? ICIC....

Hi Wazzapp!! You are late!! Yes, this is a very nice scent... Tried this last year.. Wore to the gym... very citrusy and fresh on the top note but they have clove which many do not appreciate, When the perfume dry down to 6 hrs or so... it becomes creamy and powdery. How much are you getting it for? I'm might be ip for one too! smile.gif

Hi guys... i'm wearing this today and it has a very pleasant citrusy scent. I think this perfume can make any daytime occasion.. Gym, sports, office (if the environment is relax in terms of dress code), casual outing. But i wouldn't wear for any night out in the clubs, dinner... etc. It's smells really fresh and frankly, i think anyone can wear this... i mean all age group. smile.gif Definitely a daytime fragrance.. Cheers..

Astroboy...where to get the 10ml atomizer...in glass..?

also..musc ravegeur, what malaysian chicks say about it? heh
*
Hi wazzapp, i bought my glass atomizers from states when i go there every month. I will get 10 bottles or so. It's a bit costly but i always prefer to store my perfume decants in glass rather than plastic. Musc Ravaguer is very strong and potent. I tried it myself and i get the overwhelming of clove at first and it turns to musky after an hour or so. Some really liked it but some hated the scent.. funny right? But no doubt, it's really lasting.

I even tried it on my friend.. a girl and all she gets is clove, clove and clove. Very unpleasant. I guess this perfume really relies on a person's body chemistry. I think if you wanna buy them.. it's best to get them sprayed on yourself and see what it turns out to be.. i mean try the perfume first... you might not like it and it's not worth buying such an expensive perfume if you dont like it. Good luck!

Cant stop wearing Dior Homme Intense as my working scent... it got those woody sweet scent which last more than 7hrs on me... i just do 2 on necks and 1 on chest smile.gif

Had my hands on A*Men 30ml for 122 from a local store, 2 sprays (1 on lower neck and 1 on chest) and it projects and last like monster... i felt i am a walking caramel marchiato, the dry down is just divine. IMO it is better than 1 million and Le Male...

Looking at Pure Havane and Pure Malt... anyone know where can i find those
*
Hi Edward,

About Pure Havane and Pure Malt... I am going to HK to get mine next week. I think the nearest you can still lay your hands on is Hong Kong.. Else... try your luck by purchasing online.. Good luck! smile.gif

Bro Kelthuzad... nooo... it's green irish tweed.. last time green irish tweed has the same bottle as millesime just that at the bottom it says green irish tweed... that's before they launch the Green Irish Tweed EDP... smile.gif My this bottle .. have it since 2005... been 7 years... storing in a wine cooler.. still smells the same... smile.gif and still good... smile.gif Storing your juice properly can really preserve their "life Span"
