I can get all the digital TV stations at Kempas area. The transmitter seems to be located at Gunung Pulai, Pekan Nanas.

I also staying at Kempas area, D'Summit Residences. But still couldn't find any Malaysian Channel...

Use a booster in between the external aerial and your TV.
I am using a booster with my old (10 years) Sony analog/digital LCD TV and a China made DVB-T2 receiver with good results.
The TV itself have DVB-T tuner and the picture is not too bad (much better and cleaner than analog) but I go for DVB-T2 with much improved pictures.

The analog can get many channels though, including Indonesia.
If you don't mind the quality, switching in-between analog and digital, can watch the whole night with Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Triple FTA service.

But in exchange, China propaganda channels (CCTV 4 Asia and CGTN Documentary) must be allowed to be viewed by receivers.
One of the term and condition. rolleyes.gif

CCTV 4 Asia and CGTN Documentary (before rebranding from CCTV9 Documentary) used to broadcast good stuff, but ever since the Emperor Xi ascended the throne, these two channels somehow become "China is great, right in everything, taiwan is wrong, japan is bad, US is our enemy, the thought of Xi, the 'educational' centre in xinjiang is good, the South China Sea is ours based on 'historical'* record by fisherman, we brought 'development' to Africa, democracy is bad = see all those riots etc"

malaysia not necessary have to use chinasat. What I meant is that cheaper technology is available for them to broadcast SD or HD as well.

Boosters does not really help to improve Malaysian DTT reception (which can be unreceiveable due to co channel interference with analogue SCTV from Batam Indonesia)

From Lazada

Just an example of the booster. Can go to electrical shops to check. Mine is a very old one bought some 20 years ago.

This addition on tonton signs that Media Prima are still committed to multi channels in the future. Likely Drama Sangat has moved to Multiplex 2 which is not on air at now, which is applicable to BES too before 30 December 2018.

Also, BES (RTM NEWS) and RTM HD SPORTS has recently added "Siaran Percubaan" besides their TV channel logo.

With the currently available multiplex already being full (this is if MYTV are sticking to their recommended bitrate of 4Mbps HD or 2Mbps SD), there is a requirement for MUX 2 really soon. Some of the possible additions in this MUX being TV1 HD, TV2 HD and 8TV HD and also Drama Sangat.
