my journey into digital tv was more like out of curiosity. so i bought a cheap decoder at lazada, successfully installed on my tv. then i realised that my tv already got a dvb-t2 tuner built in  & like u, i rarely watch it

Yup, I got ninmedia at home.

Is there a way for me to have both input from S2 (ninmedia) and T2(myfreeview) to work simultaneously with my built-in decoder which support both(TV model is hisense u7a)?

Get a combo T2 + S2 decoder. Then you can set your channels listing at channel 1-13 for myfreeview, channel 14-50+ for ninmedia.

u cannot use those big dish in Peninsular Malaysia. it's illegal 

so only choice is Astro Njoi or Digital TV @ MYTV 

Unfortunately I agree with that. MYTV transmission power is way too low, which must be increased power/building extra towers before the Government can actually switch off analogue TV transmitter. Before MYTV activated Skudai transmitter in my area (Pelangi is too far for my area), I experienced constant freezes on DTT signal due to co channel interference with SCTV analogue from Batam. I disagree with an rushed switchover date without completing the DTT masts since the coverage doesn't even match/exceed RTM’s existing 2 channel analogue transmitter network. Note that in Peninsular Malaysia, areas like Mersing, Gua Musang, Langkawi Island, parts of Perlis, Fraser Hill/Raub areas (there are other areas which has no coverage, like those areas with relay TXes built by RTM due to poor signal coverage/reception quality) and especially one major area, Seremban doesn't have coverage/covered fully with DTT because there is no tower being built!!! The case is even worst in Sabah and Sarawak. Also MYTV/SKMM doesn't provide a TV coverage map, which can estimate the coverage range/area. MYTV only provides coverage area with place names, suggesting that all areas stated has coverage available.
