I got a tv with dttv feature and i am staying in just completed condo in sg besi. I plugged in an antenna cable from wall mount centralised antenna port to my tv and start difital auto tuning. Seems like i am unable to find any channels from here. I dont have any issue in auto tuning “conventional” signals. Is there any steps missing or any additional device required?

New condos does't necessary means your building's centralised TV antenna supports digital TV. Many new condos also like that.
You might need to connect an indoor antenna to your TV to receive digital TV channels.

Even Singapore's condos and flats's centralised antenna does not support digital TV, hence they advise viewers to use indoor antenna instead.

Btw, how to get the MYTV?
Since I can get the BR1M, I check from MYTV website can get FOC of MYTV set-up box.

Is it MYTV will automatic inform us to get foc set up box?

If not mistaken, those who are getting BR1M+not Astro subs that's eligable for it.

Correct, those with NJOI also excluded from getting free MYTV decoder. Talk about data abuse sharing between ASTRO and government.....

Astro got your name, IC number, address, etc., so it is not hard for gov to check whether you got subscribe to Astro or not.

More likely we need to see this migration in 2019 or keep extend again.

Imo it's good they prioritize on those who do not have NJOI/Astro to get the box. Otherwise when analog signal shut down, many will still be in the dark. for Astro/NJOI customer, you have a lot more content to enjoy rather than lousy MYTv.

Assuming if those without astro even have digital tv coverage in first place.

Not easy to cover whole sarawak with terrestrial transmitters.

I totally agree it's not easy to cover the whole Sarawak, what more with their way of doing things. Still anticipating many areas will be without TV coverage come June next year.

Those without astro in West M'sia will be doing fine with the free decoder. I actually called them few days ago and was told that decoder for recipients in Sarawak has not start shipping.

Technical question: Is channel bitrate for Media Prima's remains within 2.3-2.5Mbps? Because on Tonton it got bumped at 1.8Mbps...

The news article never mentioned RTM HD channels. It only indicated that RTM channels will be fully digital in 2018.

Anyway, previously RTM had given many dates for HD transmission. None has been fulfilled.
