Try this for improved music quality: http://tinyurl.com/62wxz9bNeeds a little bit of hacking though. And I thought the SGS2 supports FLAC out of the box? And really, FLAC on mobile feels killer to me - the phone has a noisy output stream to begin with. I wonder if it can do line-out, though with the Yamaha chip inside, I wonder if even then it's gonna be good enough Audiophile-wise. But really, it's an Android WITH USB-OTG. Someone gotta hack a digital out for this thing. I mean digital out + a decent proper portable DAC + AMP = BAM! Audiophiliac enjoyment! This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jun 20 2011, 05:01 PM

QUOTE(ivanlmh @ Jun 20 2011, 04:48 PM) Do anyone have a good suggestion for android music player? I tested my fren's SGS2 and he got a program called PowerAMP..that player supports flac Any other player support flac format. Sorry to say that, but the stock player really quite suck I use MixZing player and it play flac too. Other features I like is the tag editor, mood player, videos, photos, album art, home-screen and lock-screen, artist info, widgets support and genre video browsing. But from my experience it can't read flac tag so well...anyone can help me with this? Greatly appreciated. Link: http://www.mixzing.com/This post has been edited by ellebasi: Jun 20 2011, 05:03 PM

Some news for those wanting to use their SGS2 as a digital transport: QUOTE USB audio DAC with Android I found a info about USB OTG host mode abilities of Android 3.1 at Head-fi http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/553541...host-mode-dac-smost important -> http://developer.android.com/reference/and...bConstants.html USB class for audio devices. So in theory Android 3.1 can handle external USB DAC (that'a WIN!) Next Android - Ice cream sandwich - will be made for smartphones and tablets and probably (stupid if not) will also use wider usb otg functions as Android 3.1 This gives an opportunity to use Galaxy S2 paired with portable USB DAC/AMP Does someone have a tablet with Android 3.1 and a USB DAC to test that? edit: what's more - GSM Arena reviewed Moto Xoom "You get a standard microUSB interface complete with USB host functionality. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use it before the expected Android 3.1 Honeycomb update." If that worked with smartphones we could have top-notch portable audio quality! Taken from a long dead thread at XDA. Full of drama BTW because the SGS2 ended up with a Yamaha (read: crap) DAC vs the Wolfson on the SGS. I hope I can live with the slight degradation of SQ. Coming from an iP4, man that thing was MADE for music lol. At least to my crappy ears anyway. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jun 20 2011, 05:20 PM

Guys, I have an idea on the package plan, but dono whether its really a efficient 1 or not..
As you guys know, we have "Yes" broadband, and one of the good thing of getting yes broadband is you can access to 3G without using sim card, but using their own device called "Huddle".
Now my situation is, my Maxis line for now is supp from my mom's principle family plan. And if I want to make my number into individual principle line, my mom need to go to Maxis centre with me to make the transaction. Thus, I have come out the idea where I continue with my current line n number, but subscribe a Yes package with Huddle so I can online like using 3G connection, what you guys think about this?
Is this method really work? Need you guys opinion, thanks!
