So far from watching SGS2 videos on YouTube, Samsung's stock TouchWiz skin looks pretty decent. Seems as good as HTC Sense. Why does everybody seem to hate it?

QUOTE(ventrilocks @ Jun 20 2011, 01:56 PM) be wise with your word..you say we as early adopters as fool and all..i know you expert..but pls be nice with your words.. Correct, this guy is just being rude using terms as rich brats, foolhardy . I have met such people in my 40 years of work. They think highly of themselves as the wiser ones - others are just otherwiseben83 : I don't know you nor do you know me or any early users of the phone . I pity you about your perception of people. No matter how old you are, time to growup and learn to respect others - just my 2 sen from an old man |

QUOTE(lodd @ Jun 20 2011, 01:20 PM) Just bringing this back since no one answered and it's being buried under rrp requests. I have been using thsi for the past 6 months; an excellent productI think this'll be a good accessory for our sgs2 for extreme users like me. Many of us already know about the yoobao 4800s and I want to know how this compares. 1. Actually has the stated mAh? 2. Charging time for phone? 3. Charging time for portable charger? 4. Gets hot? Etcetera. Hope anyone who's used it can answer or point to any reviews. Couldn't find any reviews on google. Unless maybe they're in chinese? Thanks. I have no idea how to check the mAh ; I suppose you need to use those electric meters from the electrical speciality shops Charging time from near empty ( left one bar ) to full using direct AC is about 6 hours The unit charges the phone about 15% in an hour - it is definitely uncomparable to live charging It does not get hot - the most is very slightly warm . Depends how long you use it. IF say 1-2 hours you hardly feel any heat. Besides this, I have 2 other portable ( Energizer, Tekkeon) - same both don't feel hot Added on June 20, 2011, 2:42 pm QUOTE(h11g @ Jun 20 2011, 02:35 PM) +1 Waiting for Mugen or Andida. Anyway I have 2 other portable chargers ( a Yoobao 4800mAh and Energizer 4000mAh) plus the 1900mAh USB plugin. These are very small - just dump inside my sling bag when I need to be away too long from a power outletUncle Benny, have you found any worthy battery replacement yet? QUOTE(hewtwok @ Jun 20 2011, 01:30 PM) tested samurai II, SGS2 loading speed is much faster (as in really much faster) compare to 2X. whether the game performance is better or not i cannot different because at this junction, the differentiation is insignificant. |

QUOTE(ben83 @ Jun 20 2011, 02:47 PM) Oh my, those early adopters really so perasan, defensive and sensitive. Did I just say rich brats are the only adopters? You just admitted you are. If you people cannot take the fact, then don't simply quote my reply. How rich or whatever your background as early adopters has nothing to do with my reply here, as I am speaking for early buyers that been duped. You still are rude . Calling people as rich brats even if they are rich is just plain rude |

just dropped by to say i'm fine and wow, this place is a mess.
so hi there all sgs2 users, are you satisfied with your new gadget ? allow me to break some news to all of you before i get tied down again. there is a newer more powerful galaxy series smart mobile in the works and development is so far going pretty smooth. there is no name at the moment only a code batch number which i got. i got a sneak preview of it though it is still very much incomplete. there are plans to rename this new range of smart mobiles and all is being in discussion. for now i can tell you that the screen has the ability to flex but i still don't see any pictures or graphics on it. will keep all of you updated as much as possible and meanwhile for those who are thinking to wait and adopt this instead of the current sgs2, happy waiting another 14 months. |
