The phone tracking through Sense.com is nice though. And really, phone tracking is more or less very useless in real life conditions, unless the phone can be tracked WHILE it's turned off or even when it's wiped clean/restored/reformatted. Also it needs to be more accurate.

I've learned that the hard way from losing my iPhone 4. FindMyIphone didn't help much once the perp switched off my phone. And it's rough tracking location is too rough especially in an urban setting like KL.

Won't stop me from installing an app to do that on the SGS2 though.

n mind u, the a5 was released months ago in the form of ipad2 and i5 wil use exactly the same thing as that, n dis gives samsung a few months of head start to catch up on a5........n u shuld nt compare sgs2 wif i4 since they r both diffrent generations, instead the previous sgs1 was much more powerful than i4.....

24months contract with maxis? it can be a nightmare if we're not careful..

because of below..
when i was with maxis, i always been charged rm250 extra on top of my bill, due to my data usage is more than 1gb limit.. normally in maxis bill they put my data as 1.1gb.. always.

now on DiGi, with 1gb plan, there's only 1 month that i ever received sms from digi said that i've reached 75% of my 1gb plan.. for other months, my bills show data usage around 580mb only..
and i never change the way i use my phone..

what if for thise existing maxis user? like me....monthly rm30+500mb data plan.....i can just sign for 24months with 1399?

DiGi is still cheapest data plan around 

they gonna charge u max rm250 for the data only.. so let say ur monthly commitment is rm100, but u use data which is at the price of rm900.. so basically what u have to pay is just rm100 + Rm250. not rm100+150 = rm250..

i've used my sgs plan for just 6 months before i switched to DiGi, and maxis managed to charge me rm250 for 5 months..

i've paid them rm1250 + my bills for 6 months + RM1699 for the sgs + rm500 (contract termination).. and i'll never consider maxis anymore, unless they provide unlimited bandwitdh like DiGI.

what data plan you guys subscribing that make Maxis overcharge the bill? I myself have no such problem before but I am using 3GB plan la.

do you know how much they throttle after the quota? thats good that it wont charge even over limit 

There's no news on whether Digi is bringing this phone in which is why I'm kinda in a dillemma. Maxis' plans are seriously uninteresting. The only thing working in their favour is that they give you a subsidy on phone price but then you have to consider bill shock as well.

Eh, this thread is about Galaxy S II why talking about mobile phone plan packages?    I know it came with the phone plan at an attractive price, but please if you wanna ask questions about mobile plans, please do so in carrier thread; Maxis/Digi/Celcom. Else this thread become hard for people seeking info about this phone. If insist of talking about mobile plan that comes with this phone, please keep it short.

By the way, anyone owned this phone yet? I mean officially from Samsung Malaysia with Southeast Asian Region ROM and hardware. Coz as I know, Galaxy S II has two versions; one with SAMOLED PLUS display + Orion SoC, AND another one with Super LCD + Tegra2. I suspected Southeast Asian version of Galaxy S II is the Super LCD one, as the price of RRP RM2099 is just too cheap compared to HTC Sensation.
