ram bandwidth is not important in K8 processors.
higher speed may give you wonders in memory bandwidth benchmarks.... but in overall system performance it does not give any much advantage at all. the most important is clockspeed. in this case, lower latency ram will help better. |

QUOTE(satanhead2003 @ Jan 27 2006, 01:58 AM) just got my nf8 and s64 2800. sadly, it's "Made in China" one, with LBBWE 0545. Now, the technical question, how do i change the multiplier? right now, i only using clockgen, and able to bump the htt to 310 at 1.52v. FSB:DRAM is CPU/10 at cpu-z. really noobie in this sc754 oc. only Sempron 3000+ and above can change multiplier.... 2800+ and below cannot. |

on certain dividers, you need to change the Tref value in order for the divider to work

Guys, need some help here. Just finished playing, tuning, finding the best for my s64. Quite satisfied wif 315 HTT. Using divider 166 3-4-4-8-2T, i cant get 3d to stable. Not even 3dmark. testing wif 248 3-3-3-5-2T, i can play any games. Increasing the vAGP oso didnt help. Increasing the agp latency to 67, oso no good. Is there any thing i miss-out to change? My temp, quite suspicious la. at 2.5G oso 30c idle 41c prime load. Using 1.58v on vcore. wat ur guys temp? Is it s64 low on temp?

yea s64 low on temp.
try use lower divider see if ur proc can go higher maybe ur ram hit the wall\ btw 315 stable prime/sp2004?play game dun indicate stable, in som case it wil fail instantly in prime. 1.58V is quite high...too high may oso limit OC, coz too hot, 41C i think not accurate la, mine use TT beetle 1.55V oso full load 44C This post has been edited by superpc: Jan 30 2006, 06:26 PM |
