QUOTE(goldfries @ Jan 23 2006, 03:31 PM) none of my processors can touch 300fsb. no time to do OCing test la. i think u need to up d vcore.. coz mine also stuck at 290.. then need to up d vcore to 1.48v my memory already set to very high divider already and timing already set to 3-4-4-11 so i'm pretty sure it's not RAM limitation. but luckily i'm not extreme OCer, so can reach 2.2 - 2.5ghz also i'm happy already. |

QUOTE(sidewinderz @ Jan 23 2006, 05:08 PM) hmm..u using 2 sticks of ram? try using 1 stick...it helps since 754 is single channel only... could you even bother to look at my CPU-Z!!! it's single stick!!! ok well i did run dual stick, it shouldn't be a problem cos like i said i already set the RAM to run at around 200mhz or lesser should RAM even if at 2x sticks would not be a hinderance (i could run 2 sticks at 227 mhz k) QUOTE(low yat 82 @ Jan 23 2006, 05:13 PM) i think u need to up d vcore.. coz mine also stuck at 290.. then need to up d vcore to 1.48v would you believe mine won't run even at 299 with maximum available Vcore pumped? |

QUOTE(sidewinderz @ Jan 23 2006, 05:23 PM) cool down...didnt know you posted cpuz here... anyway, i'm on BT-D43 chips. i don't see how my RAM could be pulling me down lor. now 9x277 @ 2.5ghz i run at /11 divider also can run nicely at 227mhz so why would my RAM be a hinderance when i try to run 8x300 @ 2.4ghz at /11 (or higher) divider? 6x300 ok la, can work. 8x300 no way, no matter what voltage i put on what thing. and no matter i change the divider to /12 /13 /14 also cannot......... aihhhh. |

lemme try 2x. i have 2 boards, NV8 and DFI Infinity NF4x but the NV8 some how seems nicer.
yes, DFI has more tweak options, but seems rather limited in vcore settings (either that or i donno how to interpret the interface EDITED : last i did the CPU over-fly thing and my board ended up going RMA. This post has been edited by goldfries: Jan 23 2006, 07:32 PM |
