I tested with those with A and B before..and both giving bad result compare to M. |

FIY, i n cyclone87 doubt good stepping for s64 will be xxMx no matter wat week...
my experience is, i bought xxMx stepping for fendii for s2500+, hitting 350htt with 1.4v only, n my 2800+ last time is also UPMW |

But i think it's not very o/cable since he doesn't show screenshot or what. This post has been edited by davidletterboyz: Jan 21 2006, 03:15 PM |

Thankx sifu's for the infos. now lemme compile it.
1. Im stuck wif Abit NF8 mobo, since i'm thight on budget, agp thingy and hynix D-43 ram. 2. Wif s64, average / most of 2800+ can hit 2.4G 3. Batch doesnt come in play in terms of overclockabilities; as long as M is the 3rd letter on the stepping, it's good to go. 4. S64 "Made in China" not having a good reputation among oc'ers. 5. make sure the 6 letter stepping ended wif BX. ( this is correct, right?) Comparing s64 wif amd64 on sc754, which one will perform better in term of oc n performance? Thanx all; sifu's n guru's ... |

lol we support thing made in malaysia!
i think s64 can win a64 in OC, coz as far as i know, a64 on sc754 doesnt OC high coz they use 130nm technology s64 wil oso cooler compare to them most important is!it is cheap compare to a64(lowest 2800+ oso cost 4xx) correct me if wrong |

Go S64, consistent overclocking performance, cheaper and yet the lack of L2cache in it as little impact on performance. |
