From what i monitored last few days, the speed of international connection will drop significantly exactly from 2.00PM to 2.00AM everyday, and IP range doesnt matter.

looks like TM is having a hard time.... Fileserve has been removed from the DNS, even i use vpn also not reaching the speed i have before.

In other countries, they pay the same amount as us but get the real high speed broadband. 10mbps, 20mbps, 50mbps, or 100mbps? we pay rm140 for 4mbps steamix with capped speed?

really fade up with our ISP especially TM!

29th June is their date said the maintenance will be finish

I assume that at the moment, they are manipulating the traffic for some reason?

I notice this morning that at times, my download speed will reach maximum, before suddenly dropping again. It doesn't look like the drop in speed is due to bandwidth congestion itself.

I able to get full speed now during peak hours it was 1.7 Mbps on 4 Mbps

using utorrent max is 40-50kb/s, usually can reach 160-180/kb/s for 1.5mb line.
but i tried use thunder can get 160kb/s, got such thing like they block utorrent by any method?

yes, got such thing. if you know of any other torrent program that give you max speed, don't say it here because got a lot of tmnut spy and bn cyber trooper reading this forum.

they don't care about your problem. they only care about throttling your line to save their own money.

Was having serious lag spikes when playing Starcraft 2 US server since the past 3 weeks. I'm in Penang. Duno whats wrong with suxmix

the throttling is back, from 50KB/s drop to 3KB/s~4KB/s. not going to upgrade to unifi even though the unifi agent come knocking my door and calling me to upgrade. not worth it to spend more money with this stupid throttling.

Same lor but I play WoW. And worse Ventrillo ping can spike up to 30k. Very hard to stay conencted on ventrillo.

Why don't you guys upgrade to UniFi? My Unifi average download speed ~ 450 - 500 kbps.

Streamyx internet connection will not get any faster or stable anymore as data is transmitted over the copper telephone line, unlike UniFi which is using fibre optics. So, my guess is that it's unlikely that TM will upgrade Streamyx line as fibre optics is the upcoming major subscription for our domestic internet connection.
