AFAIK TMNet has always been throttling down Torrent/P2P, but some areas still seem to work. Did you try reconnect internet and get a different IP? Some IP ranges seem to perform better.

Streamyx is total rubbish. I just switched back to used Streamxy for a while, and have to face unstability of speed. Sometimes fast and sometimes slow on browsing. Really garbage and hopeless. Giving problem on long term.

There's something wrong with their connection tonight. So slow even Lowyat is taking ages to load.

They already put us on some sort of transparent proxy because you can see our local Malaysian Google page still look like the old style while Google has already change the picture to Takashi Murakami's 2011 design.



Now what's with their maintenance this time? We are not experiencing any submarine cable outages so it means they might be implementing some sort or proxy or bot net in their network this time around?

I doubt they're actually upgrading our international bandwidth...not at this time when they received threats from hackers.
