just sent the car for wash earlier, did a walk around the car noticed there is tons of stone chips on the bumper and hood ...



need to get some paint to dot those rusted dots ...

Hey to those who have replaced their air filter to K&N air filter. Do you guys send your car to the shop to clean and reoil the filter or you just do it yourself?

It's advised not to touch up those stone chips on hood/metal parts, because it will only look even worse, trust me.

For bumper, okay lah.

getting those small bottle of paints? and touch up with toothpick? why ar?

The area you've touched up will be become more visible, tried that before on my bonnet.

Either you just leave it or send for re-spray, it's not a good idea to touch touch body parts.

it might getting rusted, use autospa clear paint to cover the stone chip on the hood or body.

I bought the cleaning kit and cleaned it myself. Workshops usually don't have cleaning kit for K&N filters unless they sell K&N filters as well.

I drive 2004 HC DSI. Recently I noticed the engine sound was loud whenever I start the engine. I was asked to change the aircon belt and tension bearing at the SC. I did that ( cost RM 170.00 ). But now I get a new whistling sound when ever I start the engine ?. This sound dies off after few mts of drive. Can any one help?

I always consider the car mechanics and the doctors the same. Both deal with complicated systems. But both will beat around the bush if they do not know what to do. Mechanics will ask you to change the whole part and the doctor will ask you to go for unnecessary tests and operations. But if you get a good experience mechanic and good doctor both can fix the problem on the first visit. Just sharing my exeperience.

Hi guys, did u ever drive your NHC to the carpark of Berjaya Time Square in KL? When u go up the parking (those rough pavement), did u notice the sound is loud from our NHC (sound from undercarriage or something is loose, not exactly sure)? Is it due to the road surface or the car itself?

Guys Honda City does not use Timing belt but Timing Chain?
Last time I've been asked by Autohorized Dealer that whether I need to change the belt. Then i try to ask at other workshop outside they say HC does not need to change the belt/chain :/
