gerrard,meireles,lucas,henderson,spearing,aquilani (he still our player), & now adam?poulsen sure will be sold....huh
from above cm only lucas & spearing can do some dirty job...the other are better further up field.....
all we need is a winger...not another midfielder...huh

Every time im at anfield and watch reina come onto the pitch to warm up he really seems to have such an immense presence - also, he's always waving and smiling to fans without doing too much to distract himself from the warm up

Inter line up bid for Liverpool midfield ace

Inter Milan are considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles, according to reports in Italy.

Inter president Massimo Moratti reckons the Portugal international would fit in well at the San Siro and is keen to press ahead with an enquiry.

The 28-year-old moved to Anfield from Porto in a £13m deal last summer and enjoyed a promising first season in the Premier League, scoring five goals in 33 appearances.

But Meireles will face fierce competition for places at Liverpool following the arrival of Jordan Henderson and the return to fitness of Steven Gerrard over the summer.

And, should Liverpool complete their rumoured move for Blackpool's Charlie Adam, there could be another central midfielder for Meireles to compete with.

He is under contract until 2014 but reports suggested a bid of around £14m might be enought to test Liverpool's resolve to hold on to him.

6 midfielders is juz bout right considering if we gonna play with 3 midfielders..with adam,gerrard,meireles as 1st choice depends on opposition

we need good squad depth in order to mount any serious challenge. it will offer options for subs, formations, injuries, etc etc.

Since we have quite a few CMs now, I dont mind if Adam not joining us. MU can bid him for all I care, my concern is still a left back and a wing.

i dont mind we add more lockpickers in midfield, if he is as good as he is hyped to be

For all you know, suddenly academy players will take over the LW and LB position. lololololol

I doubt so, they'll be given a spot so soon. Maybe in a few years time. I personally liked Jack Robinson to take the left though, that kid is too calm and collected for his age playing in the BPL.

Nah I don't think Meireles is going to leave Liverpool so soon .. don't worry KD won't let him go as well

Transfer is kind of slow for now.. I hope we wil get rid of some of the un needed players which increase the overall wage n get a bunch of new lads..

I hope in the next couple of weeks we can see these 10 lads shown the door - Philipp Degen, Nabil El Zhar, Emiliano Insua, Brad Jones, Konchesky, Jovanovic, Joe Cole, Christian Poulsen, Sotirios Kyrgiakos and David Ngog... They r juz nt gud enough...

6 guyz wil b back from loan n hope all these guy including Aqua man wil b sold! He doesn't seems to be interested to ever return to England.... So desperate to stay in Italy!

Mayb we can raise around 20 - 25mil from the sale of these guyz n we can 1 or 2 new faces from these cash itself!

adam,gerrard, meireles all Attacking Midfielder ...who will defend?

Gerrard can defend also .. Lucas & Spearing lo who else ..

Alonso still wanna play for us...

Adam wil do the dirty stuff... His is 1 bad ass, hard tackling CM wif a decent quality long ball provider... So I don't think he will b advancing too much but he will b more of how Xabi used to play for us... Stevie can fallback too n Raul isn't bad too in defending..

notice that i say depends on opposition..small club playing at anfield,this should be our line up..but playing against top 4 in away games..u could see Lucas came in for Raul..isnt it better we have many options to pick
