i'd say the best way for the new saga drivers to know their car capacity is to pump full tank, go way up to genting / bukit putus (whichever is nearer), do the cornering, rev your car up the hill... you'd be surprised on the handling, and to some how the engine performs (1 of my friend drove his saga blm manual 3 weeks old went up awesomely)

for me, my saga engine's (auto 1.3) performance going uphill was a little disappointing (oh no, i didn't compare with the aston martins and ferraris that was going up together, I compared mine with wira, myvi, kancil and kelisa ) the engine sound at 'L' and '2' was terrible

ya...the auto sucks at hill climbing in cameron or genting..manual can easily overtake you and other cars too..

went for 10K servicing last Saturday, I told the SC to use lighter oil and they recommend me 10w-30 which cost RM102 compare with 10w-40 RM97, total bill is RM185...is this cheap?

After servicing, I feel my car lighter and pickup time is significantly noticeable =)

10w-30 is cheaper than 10w-40
u can consider it cheap cuz 10w-40 now is no more RM97....it's RM100++ already

emmm cant remember exactly, I think change spark plug, washer ? coolant 2 bottle , oil filter and 1 or 2 more item which i forgot jor..need to check back the receipt.

hmmmm...I thought Petronas 10w-30 is better than 10w-40 thus the price is more exp. Now I am confused, meaning to say the higher number (e.g 40 > 30) of the engine oil mean more exp ?

yes....if u go shop survey...10w-40 is more expensive than 10w-30
but 10w-40 is not RM97 already...it's over RM100++
not sure your 10w-30 consider cheap or not but petronas motor oil for me quite suck

hmm..does tat mean I am using a lower grade oil instead of the better 10w-40? haizz..i thought of using Eneos semi-syn oil which I heard is quite good and I tested in in my old iswara and it was proven to be better in terms of engine sound pickup but according to my SC, he say I can bring my own oil but if anything happen to the engine, they cant claim warranty for it..so I decided to stick with their Petronas oil. =(

Hi... My neighbour's BLM alarm kenot b armed & kept on beeping if arming is attempted. Sensor Contacts @All doors & engine bonnet ok. Me cld not help altho suspect Boot sensor prob...dunno location of sensor?

try slamming the bonet one more time... usually do this, it will be ok, but im not sure where is the 'sensor'...but i think its very similar to the door switch..

no..haha....10w-30 is not lower grade
it's lighter...so it's cheaper
thicker oil is usually more expensive...cuz it's better for your engine
and whatever brand also can be use...it's still oil...it's still same grade...nothing is gonna happen to your engine
as long as it's not fake oil/recycle oil

hey zeone, i have this similar problem..sometime I couldn't lock my car...my car will " honk honk honk" (Alarm triggered) when I press lock button..after trying to slam the bonnet harder or sometime i will open all 4 doors + bonnet and close them a bit harder then can finally lock the car

but I hv a weird problem too...my car will some how sendiri trigger its alarm for no reason. It happen 2 time aly when I park my car just outside of my car porch, the car alarm went off and I hv no idea what trigger it. It keep repeating every 20 minutes -> 35 minutes like that, I need to walk to the car n turn the alarm off so frequent until I am sweating is this also due to sensor problem? How to check?

regarding boot, try see if u can find for a small button-like thing just like the door, a sensor. if im not wrong, there's one for the boot, since the hood got 1 also.

he show me the price list of that 2 oil...10w-30 RM102, 10w-40 RM97 and ask me to choose, while thinking RM102 could be better bcz of the better oil so i go for 10w-30...now when 10w-40 increase price, I suppose 10w-30 will be more exp if I go back to the same SC >< maybe RM150

semua barang naik harga, why the S eleven in my wallet doesn't increase leh...sigh

Usually at edges or hinges...However, appears not so for BLMs.
