want to ask for Saga auto, the gears always change at 2krpm?
with light foot strength on the pedal (using D), 1st, 2nd, 3rd,etc gears all change at 2krpm.. then pedal to the medal (using D), at 4.0-4.5krpm change.. unless i use a the "manual" way L, 2, 3 then D, then i can rev up to 5+krpm with medium foot strength.. Car needs tuning a little? Naik Genting using D, will force me to use L, 2, and then 3... mahfan wei =( Added on June 17, 2011, 2:17 pm QUOTE(vostro @ Jun 17 2011, 02:14 PM) now I am really in a dilemma whether to put on a new tint or leave it with the stock tint for 1-2 years before changing it to a new one... Stock tint is not that good... i'd suggest you use the voucher and get a security tint up to 80% IR block, BEST! didn't know that saga FL comes with tint.. and the SA gave me tint voucher which i now find it abit rugi.. QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 17 2011, 02:19 PM) normal is 2-2.2k RPM ohhh.. then i think when i sat in my friend's saga, he must have tuned or something, my friend's saga BLM, normal is 3-3.5k just on light pedal, then pedal to the medal get 6krpm @_@ feel the umph when press so much! but i scared later my engine runaway from the chassis if u wanna rev higher thn rev high until the RPM u want then release abit of your leg and it will switch gear Added on June 17, 2011, 2:36 pm QUOTE(zeone @ Jun 17 2011, 02:24 PM) Kenot use "D" up Genting all the way meh? Mayb change to "2" or "L" on steeper slopes? cannot use D naik genting like snail/turtle going uphill... at the corners, i need to get down to L step until get 5krpm then go 2 just to get the uphill flow smoothly... before finally switching 3 (as and when possible)... maybe my car still new.. dunno Anyone tried it? QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 17 2011, 02:44 PM) he didn't tuned anything...he just step harder.... no wor, cos step harder can feel the car go faster in a shorter time, but light strength on it, the car can go up to 3-3.5K RPM.. dunno about FC but I sure can utilize a higher RPM change (back in manual, feel got greater control >.<")with 3-3.5K RPM..his FC must be quiet worst ask him change his engine stoke to 1.6L..should solve the problem Sigh the 1.6 saga came in 1.5weeks after I bought my 1.3 saga |

QUOTE(Aishinka @ Jun 17 2011, 03:41 PM) mine gear change can happen at range of 2k-2.3k rpm with extremely light foot. flooring the pedal, gear change at 6.3k rpm. my average driving style now is gear change at 2.4k-2.7k rpm. FL auto. Ooo just medium foot eh? Well I'll need to get used to below 3k rpm Added on June 17, 2011, 5:12 pm QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 17 2011, 03:47 PM) now also u can upgrade How to change the stroke? QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 21 2011, 10:33 AM) depending on how you drive though.. if light footed (and a mix of medium foot strength too), you'll feel underpowered (especially going up hill)..But I compared with myvi 1.3... the myvi can accelerate faster than the Saga (even with me pedaling to the medal) but I can go at a higher speed compared to myvi.. i can easily reach 110-130, but myvi will start slowing at about 90-100... so the Saga FL is gd for traveling I guess.. the longer it travels the more you see the efficiency on the FC |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jun 21 2011, 10:53 AM) Why do people wanna use until tank empty? What purpose does it serves? It does nothing except maybe blowing up your pump and cost you a hefty repair.... oh it's not about using until empty, it's about knowing how far can go with a real full tank.. cant really see it if only use up to 3/4 tank all the time.. like myvi 1.0 manual, it can go up to 560km/40L Added on June 21, 2011, 11:24 am QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 21 2011, 10:54 AM) Yeah, even on the manual the torque only starts to kick in at about 2.5-3k RPM so the initial acceleration is a bit sluggish. And I agree with you on the highway drive. The other week we were in a convoy, the other car was a manual Myvi with five girls inside, mine had four larger than average guys and one lady (with the extra ~100 kg kerb weight + the guys, my car was obviously a lot heavier than the Myvi). We were chasing the lead car, an empty LMST. I kept up with the lead car easily but the girls had to radio and tell us not to "F1" too much hahaha try the saga fl running at 80-90 and do cornering! I want to test drive both the 1.3 and 1.6 auto BLMs. Any volunteers? This post has been edited by jeffro: Jun 21 2011, 11:24 AM |

QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 21 2011, 11:38 AM) yeap! I'd say for its price, it's definitely a good deal... of cos cant compare with others ranging from 70k all the way up to 200k.. this car sure lose.. but nevertheless it's the best ever rm43.3k well spent! |

i'd say the best way for the new saga drivers to know their car capacity is to pump full tank, go way up to genting / bukit putus (whichever is nearer), do the cornering, rev your car up the hill... you'd be surprised on the handling, and to some how the engine performs (1 of my friend drove his saga blm manual 3 weeks old went up awesomely)
for me, my saga engine's (auto 1.3) performance going uphill was a little disappointing (oh no, i didn't compare with the aston martins and ferraris that was going up together, I compared mine with wira, myvi, kancil and kelisa |

Hi all, today is my unlucky day where my saga got into a minor accident and got some scratches and peels.. Does anyone know when I can do a small paint job? Either at any center or DIY also I don't mind. If anyone know, mind telling me? My eyes hurt when I see the scratch
