yea i tuned already. i'm not concerned about the radio volume actually tongue.gif i'm just using it to show how loud the car can get with road noise when i'm at 120kph. i just want to check now whether cars that did cabin silencing is so much quieter at these speeds compared to cars without silencing. i'm thinking of going for silencing but i need some feedback first. laugh.gif
*
for me....i notice that 120KM/H is more silent than 90-100KM/H
i think it's becuz the power comes from 100KM/H...making the engine work lesser
so my car's 120KM/H is more silent than 90KM/H but of course i cannot always use 120KM/H in my place
uneven roads, potholes and speed limit is 90 as well

my personal opinion is right foot also play a big factor in FC.

I tried 2-3k rpm rev only for 31.5l of petrol i got 336km. 100% city auto.
tat is 10.6km/l

where i used to rev 3-4k rpm rev, 26.3l i got around 260km only max. which is 9.88km/l biggrin.gif
*
totally agree with you bro when i rev 2-3k and top speed 90-100,save alot mileage almost same as yours biggrin.gif

Added on June 22, 2011, 7:33 pminstalled a monoblock and subwoofer in my car now can't hear road sound at 120km/h but at 140-150 i hear the roar
hahahaha, guess i can't overcome completely anyway it should be fine cause i don't go above 120 daily driving.

went to brothers they quote around 800-900 for the floor,4 doors and if got remainder add to the car trunk.
ask one of the lyners he quote Rm880 and that material just OEM not the STP.Besides that i found the autofoam they use a different method of soundproofing and guranteed good insulation but the price super expensive but it is overall the car i just did an estimation according to their price and it came up to 2.9k. biggrin.gif

I'm considering getting the Michelin XM2s as well. Not sure how it costs cause couldn't find much info in the tire price thread. Too much spam there

Just got my saga FL last friday. After emptied the tank i pump mobil ron97 to test. Pick up smoother and test it on kesas highway between 80-120 the engine sound lower than using ron95. I was told by others ron95 or 97 makes no different. Is this true or just my imagination ?

hmm..i got think of going to EA for them to test drive for quoting on bonnet & fender & floor insulation, firewall i dont think i will do it since dismantling dashboard will void proton warranty.

not sure how much it will cost for EA to install STP. Most crucial part is the bonnet. hmm.gif

ok bro do let me know the price, btw the bonnet is crucial but lately when installed amp in my car so they removed the floor mat which is attached to the body and it was so thin so i suspect quite alot of sound coming from there as well.Just my opinion i think for our car we need a good sound proof and not some oem type cause our stock insulation is bad so we won't feel that satisfied.

got...got difference
who tell u 95 and 97 got no difference is idiot
it makes a big difference
RON97 gives u more mileage ...the engine sounds like kitten rather like a monster
it's better in everyway
but RON97 isn't really worth using right now cuz difference price is RM0.90/L
mean doesn't matter how good the FC is for RON97 still cannot compensate the price gap which is too big
if difference is just RM0.10-0.20 thn it's worthed

on a larger CC car, the 97 and 95 even with rm0.90 does make a difference. i used on my old accord 2.0 last time, lasted me 20-30 km more with full tank..

now with the SE, makes no difference, wasted my money pumping 97 only....
and my tyres are stock goodyear ducaro, i take corners in karak highway at 110kph no prob. of coz not in the wet la.. so far, top speed i hit while going downhill along karak is 171kph according to my GPS tracker.

Feel there shld b some difference. My old ride got better & smoother acceleration plus better FC.
However, with higher price per Litre, it kinda cancels out the FC gain!! Haha!
