My FL is giving me more worries nowaday, it has clocked 8.4k milleage and the engine is giving very loud 'roar' sound every time I start to rev higher 3.5k above..I can even feel the accelerator pedal is vibrating more compare to previously
One more question, is there any good SC recommended? I mean real good in troubleshooting problem for my car. Currently there is visible sound from tyre there, like something wanna drop when i go through holes, steering also vibrate I dont mind how far is the SC as long as my car problem can be reactify and fix. THANKS a lot guys |

THANKS a lot guys Wonder if all that hype of Proton improving on its QC after revamp of top management and its new corporate direction & philosophy to win back Malaysians, are really being implemented.... From what I've heard fr frens & read in forums on the Net, Proton has appeared to hv improved in its products...esp 2b able to offer min 3-year warranty is no simple commitment, considering what one is only paying for Proton cars. True? Pls correct me if wrong, ok? This post has been edited by zeone: Jun 13 2011, 01:16 PM |

Personally, I love the engine sound everytime I go past 3K rpm. The engine starts to roar and it makes me feel like I'm in a sports car One more question, is there any good SC recommended? I mean real good in troubleshooting problem for my car. THANKS a lot guys So it's very hard to determine what sound you're talking about. If it is a normal engine roar, I don't think it's a problem. However, if there's something really abnormal about it, send it to the SC as soon as possible. I'm not sure how engine oil will affect your accelerator pedal causing it to vibrate. I don't think it's possible. Maybe you have a screw loose at the pedal? Is it minor or is it a really, really serious vibration? And is it affecting only 1 pedal? Does this happen when idling or when you're accelerating? Not sure what you mean about the sound from tire there, but when I go through a bump too fast, there might be a knocking sound. As for steering vibration, again, is it minor or is it major? Does it happen when idling or when accelerating? On second thoughts, just save yourself the hassle and take it to the SC to check, especially the vibration issue. Compile the issue, describe the symptoms in detail and think about how you want to show the technician the problems. QUOTE(kibs @ Jun 13 2011, 01:30 PM) A HU stands for Head Unit. QUOTE(sleepwalker_00 @ Jun 13 2011, 10:18 AM) yea...soundproof is essential for BLM's door, bro, how much do you spend for doing soundproof and speakers? i only diy my "soundproof" door. not satisfied with it though. used insuflex and some damping material from SOUNDBLOK. my own opinion, insuflex doesnt help at all. spent ard 300 for my own DIY on 4 doors. I'm planning to change HU is because I need USB connectivity, the stock HU is really bad, only can support CD. speakers got from EA Autoworks. can check with howiechoo for the pricing. so far very satisfied with the satisfied, taking into account my budget. THANKS a lot guys vibration is quite minimal. considering how hard the engine is revving at that speed. i feel its acceptable given the build quality. Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for all the fast reply..let me explain in more detail about the 2 problem I face on my car. For the vibrating issue, it only occur recently whereby when I rev my car up to 4k, the engine sound is not as fine as b4 and my pedal can feel the vibration even I m wearing sport shoes, below rpm 3k there is no such vibrating problem. 2nd problem is kind of hard to explain here, all I can say is the sound ONLY appear when low speed, 10km/h - 20km/h and the sound only appear on the right bottom part of the car..everytime when u go accross holes or those patched-up "longkang" on the road, there is sound like 2 metal bar hitting to each other and at the same time my steering wheel can feel the metal bar hitting below the tyre part and thus causing "jerking" or vibration. This phenomena is more obvious when my car steer to the right and at the same time go over holes or sharp object. I send to 3 SC in puchong for several time and everytime they tested my car they drive around 60-80km/h and say " Eh tak ada problem ah" =.= padahal I told them to slow down at the first place. At the end, all 3 SC give me the same answer, "Tat sound is from suspension/absorber there memang like tat "keras" one, cant do anything one, spray spray WD40 and give me the car key back" NEed some pro sifu here plz and sorry for the long explanation =( |

Anyone had already installed Pioneer HU in BLM? Can it be fitted nicely? I mean same like the stock HU, can fully fit in without any convex from front side.
