Planning to enhance audio system in my BLM, but don't have much budget for this moment....

Should I change the head unit first or the speakers?

Changing new head unit will improve the sound quality or not?  smile.gif

i changed both. new component speakers put at front door. however i suggest u do some soundproofing to front doors if u wan put speakers there. cos when the bass kicks in, the door metal vibrate like hell. interfere my music experience.

yea...soundproof is essential for BLM's door, bro, how much do you spend for doing soundproof and speakers?

I'm planning to change HU is because I need USB connectivity, the stock HU is really bad, only can support CD.  sad.gif

i only diy my "soundproof" door. not satisfied with it though. used insuflex and some damping material from SOUNDBLOK. my own opinion, insuflex doesnt help at all. spent ard 300 for my own DIY on 4 doors.

speakers got from EA Autoworks. can check with howiechoo for the pricing. so far very satisfied with the satisfied, taking into account my budget.

My FL is giving me more worries nowaday, it has clocked 8.4k milleage and the engine is giving very loud 'roar' sound every time I start to rev higher 3.5k above..I can even feel the accelerator pedal is vibrating more compare to previously sad.gif is it due to the engine oil? can i change it b4 10k?
THANKS a lot guys

i also feel some vibration on the pedal. but thats when im going > 120kmh.
vibration is quite minimal. considering how hard the engine is revving at that speed. i feel its acceptable given the build quality.

Anyone had already installed Pioneer HU in BLM? Can it be fitted nicely? I mean same like the stock HU, can fully fit in without any convex from front side.

my pioneer hu 6350 fits nicely. no modifications needed.
