If you can get the early installation than they will honour it. I register online and manage to get installation date after 5 days. Call them to confirm and yes they do came on the appointed date.

then, next day, i cant connect to internet during this time ~9am - 9pm

my question is, can TM waive my bill because of this? anyone have done it?

Guys, is the installation waiting period about 2 @ 3 months?
*
If u receive an email from TM containing ur installation date right after u apply n it states that ur installation is in 2-3 months time then u do no need to worry coz anything more then 1.5 month will b put into a special list plus atm when there's installation near ur house/area you'll have 70% chance of em doing urs aswell... i have cases where by my cust initial installation date is around 4 weeks but after a week they call me up saying thank you bcoz they thought i manage to get their installation done in a week...

Well u are not alone. Im also feeling slowdown. Youtube I notice has slowed down quite abit on my VIP5 and also VIP20.

Torrents download not to mention, it doesn't max out my VIP20 connection now days. I am quite sure, torrents are throttles just like streamyx.

Other then that, UniFi is fast icon_rolleyes.gif

Just installed UniFi on Sunday...with the new tmrnd residential gateway wifi router (Black in Colour)... until today i am really satisfied with the connection and others...

Even the technician that installed the UniFi was very helpful in answering many question by me and my whole family.

I've applied for Unifi and got my installation date set for last Tuesday. The installer called me on Tuesday morning to confirm the installation at 2:30pm but did not show up. Tried to call him like 20 times and finally he answered at 7:00pm saying that he could not come as he was doing another installation at the same time slot. vmad.gif

WTF ! Took half day leave just to wait for him but did not show up and did not answer my call. vmad.gif

Then he promised he will come at 5:30pm on Wednesday to follow up on the installation. Rushed back 1 hour earlier from work the next day and he did not show up again. Tried to call him until 7:00pm and he answered my call. Told me he can't come because i did not reschedule the installation date with TM and he did not see any job order for the day. vmad.gif

Tried to call Unifi hotline for 1 hour to complain but nobody answer. Finally gave up and send them a complain email. Till now no reply yet. vmad.gif

Hi guys,

Anyone here from Bandar Puteri 11 installed the Unifi? As mine is schedule for installation this Saturday, I just wonder if any cabling will be involve into my house and I really hate to see the cables crossing my houses from the kitchen.

Hope someone could enlightened me, thanks.

Bought my TPLink841ND at Low yat RM85.  Nice people there even flashed the customised bios for me.  Greater wifi signal than Dlink with 5dBi antenna - signal can reach second floor and neighbour's house  tongue.gif
