QUOTE(DeepMemory @ Jul 17 2011, 03:06 AM) Hi, i just registered for unifi few days ago. Would like to ask if the 60gb limit is imposed already on the vip 5 package? And one more question is if i watch the tv channels provided by unifi will it affect my download limit if the limit is imposed. No on both question

For my case, using HG655 vdsl modem, from the modem to the phone, it's alrdy normal phone cable with RJ-11 plug. Just connect like normal phone will do. It works the same way, just that it's running on VoIP, not old copper homeline.

QUOTE(anechoic @ Jul 17 2011, 04:17 PM) indeed..only downside could be higher latency, but urs very good!! old copper wire also can contribute atleast 5~10% performance degration and last few month i nag TM about when rainning my line keep on DC. i suspect it was the old telephone line outside my house making problem and i nag them come and change a whole new 1 and i did get an extra 10kb/s speed on my streamyx 1mbps package before changing was 90~100kb/s and after changing it peaked 112kb/s This post has been edited by herojack41: Jul 17 2011, 06:14 PM

Actually. If wnat to keep the old homeline, you need not to pay rm26 every month. Change it to those prepaid one. You can receive calls, just can't call out. I forgot need to reload once in how long to keep it active but you need to reload maybe once per 3 months then the line will allow you to receive calls. If wanna make call, need type those code. It's called iTalk. Check that out. You can do this only if you want just to keep the line so that others can call you. hahaha
