QUOTE(erymanthus @ Jun 7 2011, 05:42 PM) wow, v18! It will never stop since we got our system into cyanogenmod mainline. Expect ice cream sandwich as well as future updates even if samsung decides to stop. Let's hope we can get a new, fast and stable Gingerbread ROM in this thread version Btw, will our SGS stops at Gingerbread? Possible to get Honeycomb in the future? QUOTE(mike86 @ Jun 7 2011, 10:00 PM) ermm....im still thinking whether i should try to flash another modem if u tried gb n it didn't solve ur gps problem, thn I would say it's probably hardware problem. Go bck to samsung n claim thm.since im on Darky 10.1, GB 2.3.3 XXJVO, but the GPS still having problem. ZSJPG i've tried also, still the same. anyone thinks that it should be the hardware problem instead of the software? |

i found this in previous thread:
1. flash stock DXJV9 with bootloader 2. flash Speedmod 3. copy deodexed DXJV9 into sdcard 4. go to recovery, wipe data/factory reset 5. flash the deodexed DXJV9 6. let it boot up 7. flash speedmod again because previous flash will overwrite it 8. go to recovery, change RFS to EXT4 Just wondering, do i reli need to flash stock JV9 before flashing deodexed JV9? cant i just flash deodexed JV9 straight? i am on tweaky 4.1 JVH |

QUOTE(cradle0fFilth @ Jun 8 2011, 01:18 AM) i found this in previous thread: I did try straight away flash from goatrip JVO to deodexed JV9 and all are working fine.. just that I revert back jvo cause there's no working theme for me to customize my phone and I like the fast performance and batt life on goatrip JVO..1. flash stock DXJV9 with bootloader 2. flash Speedmod 3. copy deodexed DXJV9 into sdcard 4. go to recovery, wipe data/factory reset 5. flash the deodexed DXJV9 6. let it boot up 7. flash speedmod again because previous flash will overwrite it 8. go to recovery, change RFS to EXT4 Just wondering, do i reli need to flash stock JV9 before flashing deodexed JV9? cant i just flash deodexed JV9 straight? i am on tweaky 4.1 JVH |

QUOTE(cradle0fFilth @ Jun 8 2011, 01:18 AM) i found this in previous thread: actually the point of flashing jv9 with bootloader first is to get the bootloader. so yes i guess. 1. flash stock DXJV9 with bootloader 2. flash Speedmod 3. copy deodexed DXJV9 into sdcard 4. go to recovery, wipe data/factory reset 5. flash the deodexed DXJV9 6. let it boot up 7. flash speedmod again because previous flash will overwrite it 8. go to recovery, change RFS to EXT4 Just wondering, do i reli need to flash stock JV9 before flashing deodexed JV9? cant i just flash deodexed JV9 straight? i am on tweaky 4.1 JVH |
