anyone on 2.3.4 JVP able to sync Integrated Facebook account? Whenever I try to login it says "Login failed. Try later"

yes, I just flash to F1 JVP V5 yesterday.  Its got all the features I wanted, but the look is stock which is a little messy if you have got use to the simply black theme. 

Only 1 Lockscreen.  And Samsung keyboard and swype...no Gingerbread keyboard.

Speed wise is great.  No complaint here.  Notice a bug that somehow bring me to phone dialer and I can't exit with the back button. I have to press the Home button to get out. 

The Cell Standby bug is still here.  For all the 3 version GB i flash ie. stock, Darky Extreme V10.1 and F1 JVP V5 the Cell Standby just eat up my battery right after i flash.  Not sure why but it happens to all GB.  But it disappear after that.

contacts in sim will remain intact. only contacts in phone will be wiped.. sync ur contacts to gmail up in the cloud

cm7 is easy.
1.flash to ezbase 2.0
2. copy latest nightly  http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=galaxysmtd into sd card
3. reboot into recovery and flash nightly.
4.done!
that could be easier for us, no need to teach all newbie again and they have no excuse telling us no guide on first page.  
it is always better to backup everything. if u rooted use titanium backup, if not use appmonster to backup your apps.

i think is the kernel's problem. which kernel you on?

just download the zipfile and flash in recovery.

I have always been using odin3 v1.0. No problem whatsover. v1.82 is given by Ramad so it should also be OK.
facebook contacts wouldn't be synced to google contacts. I believe it is against android's T&C or something similar.

1. wipe/factory data reset
2. wipe cache
3. Wipe dalvik cache

test for a day or two first, aft tat will flash to speedmod kernel then see how

Install facebook app and it will add fb contacts into your phonebook.

Anyone using F1 JVP roms which would like to have more lockscreen can try out this theme...
It should also works with other deodexed JVP roms.

Its got 9 lockscreen.  Just remember to set the custom applications in some of the lockscreen which support it.  I am using it for 2 days now and so far no problem.

The theme also change the Extended Power menu to a more simplify one
