Actually, when people see gaming mice, they look at the worthless infomation about the mouse, for examples they would think that 3500 dpi mouse is better than a 1800 dpi mouse.

The real info is the acceleration of the mouse, how light it is, how durable it is and also if theres prediction on or off.

i found xai around 180 rm. theres ruse, moh and normal xai.

Got my Xai from PC fair, like the feel =D Thanks for all those comments.

Was stuck between Xai or DA just now and ended up I think Xai got better sensor engine so I go for it.

me too just got the xai just now!! rclxm9.gif

honestly the non ergonomic shape is liiiiiitle not nice for me since im used to the g700 on my laptop, but since my diamondback died on me and been hearing only bad things about razer after that,I think steelseries is a really reliable brand judging from user comments all over the net.Still setting up the software and gonna try bf3!!

ps:the weight oso a liiiiiitle light imo;and thats also because im used to the heaviness of the g700,but no biggie!

yes i was reading that too. is the huano switch really that horrible as they described it? As long as the sensors fine it will be good i'm guessing. You think zowie's am will be available?

anyways im stuck between two mice. The deathadder or the xai. Xai has really nice software and its weight is around 98grams, which means that it should be very nice for low sens users like myself. On the other hand the death adder has the perfect sensor which means that I could drag shot anybody and it should not over aim or under aim due to acceleration issues.

However the xai has positive and negative acceleration on cloth pads which is the only drawback for me ( big draw back) while the deathadders complain is the lack of advanced macros and maybe its weight. The weight of the death adder should be around 107 grams as stated from "http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/peripheral/razer-deathadder.html". Which shouldn't be that bad compared to 98 grams.

in conclusion: death adder pros impressive sensor cons: not advanced software might be heavy but really its only 107 grams.

xai pros: advanced software, lightweight cons acceleration cannot be evaded.

imo right now im looking at deathadder. But xai looks good too =(

DPI is really a matter of preference. Some like faster response while others like me prefer slower, controllable mouses.

Used the kone plus for a few days and I thought the 6000dpi is wasted/overkill because it really takes an effort to control it. I had mine set at 3200dpi and they work wonders.

They have a comfortable ergonomics on the Kone plus but when things get heated up in games, I sometimes find the Kone plus rather over-sized and ended up gripping the mouse for control.

You can customize your mouse depending on the games u play like for example when you started up BF3, it will switch from a default profile to a BF3 customize profile and will switch back when you are done. It's kinda sweet especially when you play many different kind of games.

At the end of the day though, I still find DA being one of the better FPS mouse with the best value for money. Kone Plus is a good mouse but it takes a lof of effort to get used to.

To be honest, i do not recommend any of the two...
Im not quite confident with Gigabyte Ghost's build quality and CM Storm Inferno due to its Philips Twin Eye sensor....
You can google them up or if you can find in overclock.net's mice section, there is one guy trying to sell off his new CM Storm Inferno, but not a single one expressed interest in it.....

Can state your budget, usage and grip style, then others will give you better option....

Both not gooding, wait for Diablo 3 Mouse from Steelseries, that is gooding. lol hahahahahahaha.

Anyway, for looking special, you might as well look for rare stuff that people normally don't use.

Madcatz R.A.T mouse, Corsair M60/M90 Mouse, Roccat Kone Plus, Steelseries, Razer.

The most special mouse of all, is this Zalman FPSGUN FG1000
i don't think it's available in Malaysia anymore.

Steelseries is not overpriced. Xai @ RM199, you call that overpriced? M60/M90 id available at the market already, and it cost you a whopping RM300.

I don't think the price of Xai Rm199 still remain now since it is a promotion during pc fair.

no, RM199 is promotion price for XAI in recent pikom promotion.

No people own Corsair M60/M90 yet, i've went to see Corsair forum and watch people feedback on m90/m60, seems like their software is not good enough, and was design for m60.

Personally, i would grab them if they are in price range of RM200~250, but RM300, i won't even bother about it. Stick with my Logitech G700
