I think deathadder is the best mouse out there.

It has no prediction, and perfect control reaches up to almost 4m/s. Imo best mouse for serious gamers. It's also an optical mouse, xai and other mouses have laser sensors and they aren't really that good. Nonetheless xai is still a nice choice, a little bit expensive but you can't go wrong with the deathadder.

only bad side of the death adder is its lift off distance which is tremendously high.
*
??? now how come laser sensor mice aren't thatgood?? they're suppose to be the successor of the optical mouse IINM premium mouse could even adjust the prediction and lifting sensors are supposedly superior...

so.. how come ur saying that they're inferior?? hmm.gif

From my own thoughts.

Laser sensor aren't that perfect yet, if you would wanted to compare with optical sensor, since optical sensor has been used and improve over time, and become fully utilize. While Laser sensor are still new and haven't fix all it's flaw yet.(i mean compare to compare the age of technology between optical and laser)

So far, Optical is still a good way to go, mainly because it's much cheaper compare to mouse that use laser sensor.(friendly to budget user for accurate mouse)

Well, laser and optical mouse are both born from the same tech (LED) but they differ in terms if the type of lights emitted from the sensor. So in terms of development, laser sensors are actually a variation of LED and thus making the technology as old as Optical tracking itself.

Laser mouse have are better than Optical mouse in a sense that it has Higher DPI tracking and Works on more surfaces.

if a user have a problem with a laser mouse, my guess is that its not the technology thats at fault but rather the particular mouse itself cause some laser mouse do have issues with their tracking sensors (RAT anyone??)

IIRC not all optical mouse passes the mark for a "good" mouse either

IMO,peeling keyboard happens to all..
As long as there is rubber, there is peeling
shiny black finish is the only thing i hate the most, the thumbprints everywhere
about the sticky rubberized part, i dont find it to be happening to imperator tho..the rubber finish is special
something like Xai

I bought razer lachesis like 3-4 years back when it was launched. I tested my friend's krait and it it very comfy, so I go with razer. I wanted extra button and suitable for left handed and ended up buying this piece of crap.
Waste of money mad.gif mad.gif
When i'm playing games half way. It will stop responding 1-15secs then back to normal.
When it is moody it will happen very frequent.
There is also some sensor problem with it. I have adjust the mice cable sometime.
In addition!!!!! sometime when I startup my machine it could not detect the mouse. I have to unplug and replug.
I update firmware, change OS , change mobo... still same....
Finally I go claim for warranty they replace with a new unit. Same issue wth!!..
Then i just throw it aside. A 20 dolar mice is better than that...........

yes the opticals were out first because at that time the laser diodes were too powerful (also require more power) to become like what it is today its only after year 2000 (dunno which year) that there is a laser mouse available for the masses wink.gif

Only FPS?? grip style? right / left handed...
I would go for the G400 when playing fps as I don'r need too many buttons and I'm a palm/claw grip type.. the G300 is a good mouse for RPG cause of the multiple programmable buttons on it
