But bro, both are using different grip wor... one is for claw and one is > toward palm....
you using what grip?
If comparing build quality, logitech wins hands down, if compare aesthetics, bling bling wins....

But last time the G500 got one issue (dunno because of driver or sensor) that the cursor will jitter and very significant when set at high dpi.... that is a common problem last time... no known reason... only can go exchange.... but now dunno the issue fixed already or not....

actually both also Logitech even for the TaxtX mouse itself because the Body and sensor those are from Logitech G9x, so basically the TaxtX mouse is just rebranded with Alienware logo..which i not fancy into in.
The Reason i put the alienware insides is just because i get a offer of Rm150 for a rebranded G9x

Just wonder which one is better? Im prefer Palm grip actually =)

Hmm... if you prefer palm, then i would suggest get the G500.... G9x is a pain if you're palm grip.... unless you can learn to adapt... if can, then the rebranded G9x is the better option.... laugh.gif

difference is the weight system and the interchangable grip? that's pretty awesome tongue.gif but since both G500 and TactX is using the same sensor, get the cheaper one.

Hey guys! I wanna buy new mouse very soon. Now i'm considering between Logitech G700 or Razer mamba. Please give ur opinion

i would go for G700

QUOTE(sasaug @ Nov 29 2011, 10:04 PM)
Any idea about Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0? Heard it is just 400dpi

I'm using sidewinder x3 and the scroll wheel is no longer comfortable due to it's peeling off so I'm looking for a replacement.

I'm looking at SS kinzu or perhaps Microsoft IME3.0. Which should I go for? Currently I'm using 1600dpi on my mouse but in FPS game, i normally drop the mouse sensitivity to very low and it still turn quite fast. I also play RTS etc game so I'm worried that the 400dpi from IME3.0 will be too low.
*
lol 450dpi with tweaked 500hz polling rate i dun think it fits well as gaming mouse
if you are free, feel free to go pc fair tomorrow and touch the kinzu see whether you like it anot
i think kinzu gonna be priced around rm79

QUOTE(rurushu @ Nov 30 2011, 12:01 AM)
The irony... almost ALL pros use IO1.1 or IME3.0....

when pros use it

The Gigabyte mouse is ok for normal usage, quite comfy with rubber grip on the side but... it doesn't last long... within few mths problems started with the buttons being unresponsive and nearing the end of the year... K.O

Sensor are definitely very good, But seriously i hate Gigabyte mouse. Crappy Driver/Firmware.

Buttons do not die, but functions die first, my left click function is officially dead, and beware of mouse wheel, M8000 and M8000X, both die in the same tragic way, Wheel broken, and firmware f**ked up.

Anyone here grabbed Corsair Vengeance M90 yet? it's a new mouse that release by Corsair.

M8000 and M8000X case is something like Kone[+] and G9x. Both of the 3 uses the same sensor, 6090, and the 'updated' version uses 9500 tongue.gif weird huh?

what's the DPI/CPI setting you use for your mouse ?

Higher DPI/CPI = higher Negative Acceleration, you know ?
