If I got RM500 to buy a mouse, I would walk pass the Mamba, the Naga Epic, the RAT 9 and go straight to the Logitech G700 (if we talking wireless) or Sensei (if we talking wired)

Why?

Because of ADNS-9500 which Sensei, G700, Xai and not Mamba or Naga Epic or the RAT9 has underneath the shell, but its not really a strong argument if you talk sensor alone But, to start with, a good sensor is first on the list, then ergo, then firmware and software, braided cables or not, battery longevity and bla bla bla, and lastly then only talk brand...

Any idea about Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0? Heard it is just 400dpi

I'm using sidewinder x3 and the scroll wheel is no longer comfortable due to it's peeling off so I'm looking for a replacement.

I'm looking at SS kinzu or perhaps Microsoft IME3.0. Which should I go for? Currently I'm using 1600dpi on my mouse but in FPS game, i normally drop the mouse sensitivity to very low and it still turn quite fast. I also play RTS etc game so I'm worried that the 400dpi from IME3.0 will be too low.

Kinzu sucks ttm, I will grab G400 over Kinzu any time, any day IME 3.0 is a very very old mice, not sure whether you still can find new units nowadays did you set your windows sensitivity a bit too high?

Yea, there are a few new one in Garage sales and it's rm120 so I was wondering should I get it or not.

DeathAdder is ok but I'm not a fans of Razer product lol...but the Transformer one looks cool but quite expensive..I read a few page back and seems G400 is quite ok as well.

So it is down to DA, IME 3.0 or G400. DA abit expensive though...I prefer around 100+-

IME 3.0 wasn't even a gaming mouse at the very first place lol. I vote for DA, but since it is over your budget..then G400.

The irony... almost ALL pros use IO1.1 or IME3.0....

If comparing build quality, logitech wins hands down, if compare aesthetics, bling bling wins....

But last time the G500 got one issue (dunno because of driver or sensor) that the cursor will jitter and very significant when set at high dpi.... that is a common problem last time... no known reason... only can go exchange.... but now dunno the issue fixed already or not....
