I plan to travel to Osaka + Kyoto this coming august, anyone who knows any blogs or place/food recommended for osaka and kyoto?

How do get to work in company in Japan without even completing up to N2 ?

I was transferred to Japan for off-shore project and during that time I learned enough to read technical material, conduct business correspondence and had no problem reading and following the instructions or opening a discussion with my co-workers.

thanks for the sharing, i'm going to focus on Osaka + Kyoto for 8 days 7 night this round. Tokyo been there on april to see sakura. I think i'm going to spend 4 days at osaka and 3 days at kyoto (i guess) , any special and interesting place to visit?

I worked in a software company in Japan 3 years ago. Fortunately, the nature of my work involves my spending the bulk of the day operating all alone and away from both the company and coworkers. Unfortunately, that means I'm very limited in what sort of advice or consolation I can offer you.  I'm sure you should know this by now, but nomikai (drinks after work) are good way to bond with co-workers in Japan.

How you cope with Japanese way of working depends on you as well. I think you'll do great, one of the hardest things to do is first confront a problem, right or wrong, particularly here, you will learn from this experience and it will make you more ready to face the next one that comes up. Good luck!

Yeah all good bro. Settled down and I'm fairly used to living here. My Japanese is still basic and that's an area that I need to brush up. Job wise, still looking for better opportunity. How bout you man? Do you fly here anytime soon?

Its not boring if you enjoy nature. Its more laid back kind of country. Plus, tons of awesome outdoors activities to do!
NZ is perfect for retirement! I'd love to retire there someday.
