gone for your trip yet? i think 7 days for both city is not enough unless you 'touch and go'
but it wouldn't be worth it too

Its really depend what season u r going. Generally if weather not so hot and its good. No harm cycling as major point of interest are nearby enough to cycle around.

However, if its hot as in summer. Train is your alternative.

just found out bout this thread, thought only one japan travel thread. anyway for kyoto its best to use bus and walk, all the bus stop pretty much in front of the attraction place and got bus day pass which is very cheap. but if u wanna cycle its fun too but time consuming, and dun worry, cycling in japan is super safe. drivers dun aim at u lik a target there unlike malaysia

what's the best japan sim to use? Need one for 7-8 days, yokoso/docomo doesn't have stock here for 7-8 days not sure where else to get. b-mobile has some pretty bad reviews about speed and coverage, so anyone can drop any other recommendations? Will be using data mainly for social media and getting around using Waze/Google Maps.

How many GB do you need?
I'll be there for work soon and bought this for 7 days use: Hello1010

It was a recommendation from another colleague, he used it with no problem back in Tokyo last month. I have not tried yet so I can't comment much laugh.gif
