QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 7 2011, 02:18 PM) Minimum payment is 5% of the outstanding amount or RM 25 min whichever higher. Minimum payment is 5% of the outstanding amount or RM 50 min whichever higher.Late payment is 1% of the minimum payment amount or RM 5 min whichever higher. Late payment is 1% of the minimum payment amount or RM 5 min or RM 50 max. I think is like this. |

QUOTE(tifosi @ Aug 7 2011, 02:34 PM) Minimum payment is 5% of the outstanding amount or RM 50 min whichever higher. I quoted that from MBB statement:Late payment is 1% of the minimum payment amount or RM 5 min or RM 50 max. I think is like this. [attachmentid=2373333] I'm pretty sure that the first statement is RM 25 not RM 50 because my Visa is just charged for RM 25 for min payment. As for the 2nd statement, I'm not sure of the max cap. |

For #1, you are right. Just checked my statement. RM 25. However, OCBC and PBB min payment is RM 50 or 5% whichever higher. I thought it was a standard practice across the banks.
As for #2, Late Payment 1.00% of total balance outstanding as at statement date or a minimum of RM5, whichever is higher (Maximum: RM50) |

QUOTE(shoduken @ Aug 7 2011, 12:49 PM) btw Gen-X, after I compare Maybank and Citibank card in terms of points, indeed the Maybank gives more better.. i means 5 times more better (2.5% > 0.5% per rm1 spend points) plus Citibank doesn't gives point on petrol spend. If you talking about Maybankard 2 Card American Express, yes definitely better than almost all card in terms of 5X TP for any transaction BUT the merchant got to accept AMEX http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards is this the better card? QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Aug 7 2011, 06:46 PM) If the terminal got slot for CC, then no need go to cashier. Just follow instructions. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Aug 7 2011, 06:52 PM |

Only tm point accepts Amex for unifi bill. Even Amex autopay doesn't accept unifi.

QUOTE(skincladalien @ Aug 7 2011, 01:12 PM) does the interest from outstanding balance calculated everyday or on statement date? Interest is on daily basis however on how it's calculated depends on the exact scenario. For your example, as long as you pay all of the statement balance amount before the next statement, interest will be calculated up to the date when you settle the statement balance in full. In this case, you will still get to enjoy interest-free transactions on your next statement date and only pay a small amount in interest.example my total amount is RM1000, on due date 2nd july i paid RM500. and somehow before the next statement date of 14th july i somehow got spare rm500 and decided to pay it. will it be just RM500 or need to calculate (RM500+some interest%)? If you do not settle the statement balance in full after the next statement date, you lose interest-free benefit and will need to pay interest on the remainder of the carry forward balance plus all new transactions made until statement date up to the due date. |

One thing I dislike about MBB2 Amex is the transaction for oversea payment will take a longer time to appear in my statement as compared to other credit card provider. As I am using my card statement for claim reimbursement.
I had a very bad experience the trasactiion shown after 2 months delay. Before that, I called the customer service but they said no such captured in their computer. |
