Maybe my luck isn't good. There was a shop that actually pasted AMEX on their window but did not accept my AMEX.

Then I serviced my car at a Proton Service Of Excellence center. Initially they did not want to accept my AMEX but I said, please swipe first, if reject only I use another card. Hehe, they let me swipe AMEX.

RM 3200 is the salary of my fren, he claimed that he got RM 4k credit limit
for each cards. I earn less 400 than him and during my application
I was told that I would get RM 2k credit limit for each card. I just want to
be sure whether my friend is BSing me or not( he got a long history of doing so )

Both of us are first time applicants with no previous credit cards.

Hi guys, I have an enquiry here. The points that we collect, TreatPoints can only claim from Maybank is that right? We can't use them as Membership Points to claim from the AMEX catalogue. Is that so?

I encountered a problem with this AMEX buy 1 free 1 promotion at a Starbucks outlet in my place last night. I tried to buy a Mocha Ice-blended Frappucino and was told that it is not eligible for the AMEX buy 1 free 1 promotion as the promotion is only applicable for regular coffee and tea drinks only. I did querry them and told them how come it was possible last time. She told me that they received an email from Maybank just very recently that it's only for regular coffee and tea. Anyone faced the same problem ?

Just got my first credit card today YAY! Went to the OneU Maybankard branch, done in 1 and half hours!  Just a question for you guys, with the MBB AMEX, can use the online portal thing in www.americanexpress.com.my or are we limited to linking the amex card to maybank2u. Cos when i tried to sign up i get the invalid 4 digit error

Also, thinking of signing up for the amex autopay, is there a way so that the bills are paid on Saturdays? (to make full use of the 5% rebate)

wanna ask about maybank ezycash,

lets say my amex owe RM2000 and i got trouble paying back, I use the mastercard to get RM2000 and pay off the amex.

so indirectly i got a 6 months BT with one time 3.88% interest instead of the standard amex interest.

do i understand this correctly? (lets just assume i dont have other bank to get 0% BT)

i want to know what is the 'Minimum payment amount' ?
so if we pay the minimum amount then no late charges isnt it?
what is the % of late charges.can somebody explain? thanks

for Maybank, the late payment penalty is 1% of outstanding balance or Min RM5 or Max RM50.

Late payment is 1% of the minimum payment amount or RM 5 min whichever higher.

have you guys calculate the amount left carefully? the interest for mbb2 is 8.88%p.a. if you clear the min amount before due date, and it wont appear in the transaction history in m2u website.
