I received a reply from Maybank yesterday. Regarding the problem i faced at a Starbucks outlet here in KK with the AMEX complimentary beverage promotion. They said they have forwarded my queries to AMEX and my queries shall be answered soon.

Planning to get my first CC the maybank2 card. JUst wondering if we can ask them to waive the RM50 fee? Anyone tried?

i have a MBB2 card, but then cimb approve my application for cimb petronas mastercard, should i take it?
i apply both at the same time because not sure which gonna approve...

unless u pump only petronas, else don't take it
but beware that u might need to pay the RM50 gst

i pump petrol only around rm 100 per month...ahaha, coz my working place is so near....i guess i just cancel it then....

if i swipe the card on weekends for cash back, do i get both points and cash back? or only cash back?

Went to Starbucks in Taipan, the barista did not say anything about the promo ending or anything like that. The person queuing in front of me, swipe at least 3 separate times to get 3 free drinks.

Just got my first credit card today YAY! Went to the OneU Maybankard branch, done in 1 and half hours! Just a question for you guys, with the MBB AMEX, can use the online portal thing in www.americanexpress.com.my or are we limited to linking the amex card to maybank2u. Cos when i tried to sign up i get the invalid 4 digit error

Also, thinking of signing up for the amex autopay, is there a way so that the bills are paid on Saturdays? (to make full use of the 5% rebate)
