Just got my first credit card today YAY! Went to the OneU Maybankard branch, done in 1 and half hours! Just a question for you guys, with the MBB AMEX, can use the online portal thing in www.americanexpress.com.my or are we limited to linking the amex card to maybank2u. Cos when i tried to sign up i get the invalid 4 digit error
Also, thinking of signing up for the amex autopay, is there a way so that the bills are paid on Saturdays? (to make full use of the 5% rebate) This post has been edited by db07mufan: Jul 27 2011, 04:16 PM |

Just want to make sure how the interest works. My statement date is 26th August.
Lets say i have 1000RM owed at 26th will the interest calculate for that RM1000 or is the interest calculated when i do not pay the RM1000 before the PAYMENT DUE DATE |

One more question, how do we remove paper statement in maybank2u? can we do so? Tried looking for it inside cant really find it la This post has been edited by db07mufan: Sep 9 2011, 10:19 AM |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Sep 9 2011, 10:41 AM) If your statement date is 26th, you can pay RM1000 on 27th with no interest and worries. THis is how it looks like nowIf your statement due date is 26th, then u need to worry. Paying at 27th you will get charged late penalty + interest for all balance and transactions since statement date (which in this case will be around 6th) Statement balance: RM15.01 Pay Now Payment due date: 15 September 2011 Statement date: 26 August 2011 I have 1000RM in outstanding balance from this month's expenses. And i paid the RM15.01 already. SO this means my RM1000 is due next month 15 October, and if i pay at 27th Sept ( the RM1000 will be put into Statement Balance for September), i will not be incurred any extra charges. |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Sep 9 2011, 12:15 PM) Yes altho u can also pay before or at 15 October without any issues. The RM15.01 u can pay on or before 15 Sept without any additional charges (little reason to pay much earlier compared to the actual due date). Thanks a lot zenquix!! Clears my doubt. First timer in using credit card hehe.Your choice to pay on 27 Sept altho I would just pay around 12-13 Oct. |
