i did overpay my amex to swipe a lcd tv at senq, so shouldn't be a problem but need to do over atm. one thing, SENQ can accept treatpoints redemption @ 200=RM1.

Just wondering...for weekend rebates, which does it take account for under Maybank2u transaction history? Posting date or transaction date? Let's say Posting date is a Monday while transaction date is a Sunday, do I get the 5% rebate?

i heard countless people asking this question at the credit card application section at the treatsFair. some asking until spitting saliva on my arm (not a joke ). gotta be the dumbest question to evade a RM50 tax when they are already being taxed more from their pay - why dont they spend more effort to come up with ways to escape that?

anyway was there applying for the Maybank 2's - new applicants get on the spot approval or within the hour, but existing cardholders only get their applications processed the following week. once they netted u, its like a given for them u are a keep, and these banks dont bother much to appreciate their existing card holders.

Think of it as one time fee only as subsequently it can be waive through redemption of points / min swipes per year.

If I were to use the 10K TP to waive for GST just give the CC a call?

Was at Starbucks @ Centro Mall in Klang on Sat, 23/7/2011. Barista informed me that they received an email stating that the AMEX Buy 1 Free 1 promo will be discontinued - 1/8/2011 will be the last day and not 31/10/2011. Apparently, there is some 'issue' with MBB. Perhaps a forum member can verify this?

Well, it was discussed before in this thread or General CC Thread that for overseas online transactions, it will depend on when the merchant processes your transaction. Say if you did the transaction on Saturday local time, and the merchant in in a different time zone where it's still a Friday and process your transaction before midnight, then your transaction will be considered not on a weekend.

This is Maybankard 2 Cards Thread, the cards are FREE FOR LIFE without conditions. And with the MBB 2 AMEX, one only needs to spend RM2K and earn 10,000 points to offset the GST and on top of that, one can earn up to RM600 per year extra. Even if a person only spends RM2K per year on weekends, he'll still earn RM100 cash back from Maybank. So if any person comes here asking for GST, well, we know the person's character, hahaha.

If you are talking about MBB 2 AMEX, yes. ALL transactions with the MBB 2 AMEX earns you 5X Treats Points no matter where on earth.

Due to overwhelmed response i suppose. May be they have come to realiazation that just how frequent their AMEX card holders are going to Starbucks and they are posting huge losses on this promotion
