Earlier I thought that the first 10,000 who meet the RM 4,000 will be selected to the guarantee gift.
But, it seems that the first 10,000 eligible Cardholders who send the SMS registration will have greater advantages.

This is sucks... not too long ago, it was complimentary without limiting it to 10,000 cardholders. After the massive ipad gift, they altered the T&C. Still one of the more generous CC though... my OCBC only give at most RM600 yearly but Im getting more in value from SCB. I hope they have more items for redemption as their redemption points is way way higher than the others and some nice items are limited to privileged banking customers.

Maybank VISA Infinite is the only one as far as i know.

The promotion is really smart, the eligible participants are the earliest 10,000 SMS registration and spend RM4000 within the participating periods.

They are not going to tell u whether u are eligible or not to the "guarantee gift".
They designed the promotion in such a way that u ought to use SCB credit card to spend the RM 4000 .
U never know whether u are one of the earliest 10,000 SMS registration or not until such time the result is announced...

Does anyone getting cash back with description '30 Spends Condition' from SCB? Any idea what is this? I receive RM50cr in my SCB Business Visa Plat with the description of '30 Spends Condition' on 6-Jan.

I'm guessing it's a old promotion whereby you need to spend 30 times to get RM50 ?

its quite standard. I believe its the cash rebate for "spend x times after xx days of ur card activation" on top of the cash rebate they give when u apply. like RM138 + RM 50 = RM188? can use it to offset GST lo.

But I've gotten Rm138 + Rm40 last year for card activation.
