You can actually set the sms alert notification for SCB from their online banking system. I set SMS and email notification for mine, amount above RM100.

SMS banking > Alerts - Manage your alerts > View alert > Transaction alert > Customize alert condition > Transaction alert setting > set amount

Remember to select card, play around with it. It is there.

Very misleading.

1) No annual fee - there is an annual fee but waived for new cards. Need to call to request for waiver thereafter.
2) No GST (3 Swipes) - there is GST but need to call to request for waiver. No call, no waiver.
3) Guarantee gifts (subject to quota) - only when a certain T&C is met
4) 0.86% rebat - which card?

Campaign Period: 4 June 2012 until 3 August 2012. Only SMS sent via Maxis, Celcom or DiGi mobile operators will be accepted by the Bank’s SMS service provider. This Campaign applies only for retail charges made using a registered card during the Campaign Period. Transactions and instalments under Auto Payments/Auto Billing, or any of the Bank’s instalment payment plans are excluded. Daily CashBack Prize: Participation will start from the second working day after the Bank’s SMS service provider receives the registration SMS. The 50th and 100th transaction in each half-hour time band will be selected as potential winning transactions. Winning Cardholders will receive a cashback in the amount of their winning transaction subject to maximum of RM200 per winning transaction, and maximum total cashback of RM10,000 per day and RM560,000 throughout the Campaign Period. Guaranteed Gift: Participation is effective throughout the Campaign Period as long as the registration SMS is received within the registration period. The first 17,500 registered cards (based on time of receipt of registration SMS) which meet the Campaign spend criteria will entitle their cardholders to a gift. Each cardholder is entitled to only one gift per registered card.
