I have another 2.5 year to settle my loan (rm 500 each month). If i buy insight then i need to pay Rm780 each month for 7 year. I only travel about 20km everyday. It really hard to make this decision. Thank for ur respond.

you come into a forum with Insight lovers/owners, and you ask if you should change yr current car to Insight? Errrr... the answer should be fairly obvious to you by now.... (it's like asking monkeys if they want to eat bananas - not that all Insight owners are monkeys).

i am pretty sure 99.99% responses you will get is a definitive yes (no brainer).

you're asking the wrong crowd - if you want a truly subjective opinion, then you should post to general car forums where you get different folks w/different car types weighing in.

but since you asked - yes, buy Insight! buy Insight... buy Insight.... buy Insight... buy Insight....

If u only travel 20km per day and also your vios still under finance, better stay with it unless the vios is having technical problem and need frequent repair which I doubt it. I drove vios before and I recon it is a very good car in term of handling and acceleration :-)

Hi, make sure you do the headlamp calibration correctly. They are quite far off. I did mine slowly and the intensity is really good now. The 2 main flood spots were highly visible and throw coverage were nicely spread out too.

sorry aar... quality tak pass a bit... camera phone. the color of the light is off - it's yellowish (4300K).. not blue-ish like it appears in this photo.

so far so good w/my HID set (OEM Philips bulbs). these are ripped off my 5-yr old car, and "transplanted" into IN2... no probs @ all. gotta love the old Philips ballast/build/bulb quality. use so many years, no issues. emang pass!

Anyone got problem rattling sound around steering area when drive slow on uneven road? Damn annoying -.-"

YES!! I was just asking my wife what was the sound when on our way home... near the stering and air cond temperature control there. Sometimes it will goes off.
will ask HC to check during my 10k service.

Occasionally

I do hear some little ticking sound driving slow (that's when tyres and engine sounds minimized, easiest to spot), it's kinda from my dashboard though.

When I just put a finger on it, no more sound.

Not sure if this is your case too.

Good news I pressume for all insight owners waiting for silver. Saw a truckload of silver insight near sg besi told exit heading towards KL... delivery is resuming...

No rattling sound at all, but only brake pedal sound. I suspect the pedal sound is from something called brake booster or brake pump. Anyone know the way to fix it?

Although most owner here would say yes, i would say no...

U will have to re-learn to view the meters in front of driver rather than on center of dashboard

If u're too use to the softly sprung vios (with significant body-roll when cornering), Insight spring are firmer. I afraid u will take corner faster than before and facing higher chance to overshoot.

When the car almost overshoot, the VSA will kick in to stabilize the car. Since u're not use to VSA, u might be surprise with the VSA indication (some beeps sound and indicator light blinking) and it would make u panic.

Other than that, when drive normally u will find the Insight auto climate control with multi direction blower mode set to leg, your leg will be chilled. Even worst, there were air-duct under front seats channeling cold air to your passenger. Passenger leg also cold....

U could felt too comfortable and loose your focus on highway when u set the cruise control and both leg free while cruising.

The worst reason for all of us, after few years and done with this car, we could only buy cars with very low fc coz we've already used to fill-less travel-more. U could have this issue also.

im trying my best to get another 2500km before 3rd of july. for 5k service.

Anyone try to drive insight up to genting before?? How does it feel?

Honda charge few ringgit extra for schedule maintenance, dunno why.

IMA system is considered maintenance free unless its time for battery change which cost around 7K, estimated after 10 years based on 1st gen Insight owners worldwide (refer insightcentral).

You missed out some bro...for eg. you might get a shock when the wiper clean the windshield automatically when rain fall. The lights comes on when it gets dark. The auto cruise make you burn lesser calories. S#*t your own pants when the engine cuts while you stop at the lights. Making calls to service centre "why ar when I start the engine..no cranking sound one?"
