I have been using it 1.5 months and it has never freeze, hang, restart, auto shutdown on me. I must say is close to perfect smartphone. I have used several type of androids and must say this model is just unbelievably great. Only issue is slightly poorer battery life and more warmer when heavily used with temperature hovering in 40's to 45 ( as portable hotspot)

YES - very good price. I bought my previous Yoobao 602 ( 4800mAH) from them for RM 109 while garage sales guys were selling it for RM 250+ !!!!!

Hi everyone, I am a new owner of SGS2..

Got a big problem..

Just yesterday..i charged my phone fully. WHen i wake up this morning, it was 5% left. I checked and found out wifi sharing was draining the battery.

Anyone faced such drastic drop? I never enable wifi sharing..
I freezed the wifi sharing using titanium backup. Some say flash angelorom. Wanna ask sifu opinion here smile.gif

Uncle Benny... I downloaded the driver but the problem remains... Restart both PC and SGSII...

every month you will hear some more powerful chip..phone maker will come out with this chip slowly..they will not come out with the most powerful one ..that's not marketing strategy..same as intel..why offer 1GHz CPU if can offer 4GHz?..

technology will grow fast..soon sammy will come out with quadcore by end of this year or early next year..that time, A5 is nothing compare to quad core..

so don't complaint too much and enjoy the phone you buy every bit, unless you hobby is trying new gadget like uncle benny here..smile.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

That is crazy drop. My unit averages 30% drop from midnight to 7am with active refresh and updates on email, rss,tweeter, newsfeed. If I switch off 3g it drops max 5% only
Suggest you monitor one more day. If similar results could be battery defective. It is unlikely WiFi sharing affects so much usage it should be about few % only when running in background
The last angeloM ROM disable this and not installed. You need to flash a separate zip from recovery to enable wifisharing

I paid the price on their website direct convert from RM. Also include I think about 5 USD shipping fee. Total came up to 110-120 I think (can't remember exactly). Current website price is 34.99, I think not changed yet.

Considering a lot of the third-party selling direct USD-Pound (29 pounds or something stupid) and still have to pay shipping international, why not direct from manufacturer? Most of us got Maybank account if do online transaction anyway...

xda-devel got a few ppl complaining like crazy about this sort of battery life, overnight drain finish. I think its some suspend problem, probably better to go read it there as I don't brain it (and won't bother until I got phone in hand icon_rolleyes.gif )

Did you have micosoftnet framework installed at least ver 2. Now test with another usb cable to eliminate micro usb connector failure

thanks! I managed to solve it... Forgot to turn on one function...
Now, pending a good time to flash my SGS2... Home internet a bit slow to dl 300MB ROM laugh.gif
