Hi everyone, I am a new owner of SGS2.. Got a big problem.. Just yesterday..i charged my phone fully. WHen i wake up this morning, it was 5% left. I checked and found out wifi sharing was draining the battery. Anyone faced such drastic drop? I never enable wifi sharing.. I freezed the wifi sharing using titanium backup. Some say flash angelorom. Wanna ask sifu opinion here

Uncle benny,
Mine is AP set. Anyways that i can test the battery? I mean i do feel mine drain a little bit faster..
I don't know is it because I never charge overnight for the first charge..but like watching video using headset..for like 15 mins can cause a 5% drop.
One more thing i dont really understand is: I am using lite-ning rom 1.4 XWKF1..but my baseband version is still XXKE7. but my kernal version is ZSKF1. How can i make my baseband version consistant or does it matters?
I have disabled the wifi sharing and will report back..but such a drastic drop..like 90% overnight..

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 16 2011, 09:19 AM) So why don't you do a 8 hour overnight charge as suggested by many. Personally I don't do it. I don't even practice those methods charge n recharge off etc etc ad proposed by dhd users. As your phone still new observe few more days. Don't get too worried now. But I must say the big drain overnight is disturbing, disable WiFi since you are not using itthere are many theories why such battery drain happen . Best is still you set your own controls on battery usage overnite. Freezing apps esp default apps you do not need will help too conserving battery And the rojak mix in ROM doesn't matter at all . Well, i thought the same as you. Dont really think battery nowadays needs that, but what do i know I will try to freeze more default apps..really annoying. Update u guys soon

Hmm..still cant after redownloading it. Hmm not sure what went wrong. I boot into CWM boot recovery..wipe cache and apply update from sdcard.
Only thing that is weird is that its saying can't access to 'system/csc/ARB/system when its appling multi-csc
All the time i did it using odin..not very fimiliar with CWM
