No problem there-lah..Signboard is english and as long as you can speak one of common chinese dialect there such as Hokkien and also hakka. There are sizeable Hakka in Taiwan too and even the MRT announcement also include hakka!

BTW, Hokkien is actually much widely spoken there and mandarin actually for official bussiness. If you're Canto, most of them also can understand Canto except probably cant speak..so just use your canto if you are fluent in canto lor..they will most probably replied you in ejther mandarin/hokkien haha

BTW, I also a semi-bananas & can't read & write chinese but I can speak Hokkien & Mandarin..so really a problem when comes to communicating

In early to mid Dec -yeah just like Genting/ CH..infact on certain hour of the day but towards Early Jan till early Feb sometime temperature might drop to 10C or below..but overall, Taiwan weather during winter is mild from my experience...Hong kong infact worse than Taiwan during same time althought located much Southern

I was there last month on the 5 th for 7 days. Not that cold, can walk around wih t shirt but the annoying part is the constant drizzle
