Hey Ric,

Finally got one of the store owners on the phone today, and they are going to help me place my order of mylites and half-backs.

It'll take the goods 2 weeks to come in, but after such a long time searching, pleasantly surprised a local comic store is stockin' them!

Thanks for the referral again!  rclxm9.gif

Wah... never realise it is worth so much now.
Thought all the comics after the 90s are not really appreciating in terms of value.

By the way, this is an interesting news!

"As a result of Disney’s highest single shareholder and Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter’s anger with Fox Studios over negotiations regarding the film-and-related rights to The Fantastic Four, that Marvel would cancel the Fantastic Four comic rather than provide any promotion, however small it might be, towards the Fox Studios film. Merchandise and licenses were scrapped and even Fantastic Four posters in the offices were pulled down lest Perlmutter see one and have his ire raised. It may not have been logical, but it was a decision born of personal emotion." ... From Bleedingcool

I am sure FF fans will be sadden to hear this!! blink.gif

It's not surprising... curious how much (or little) 20th Century Fox paid Marvel for the Fantastic Four and X-Men licenses, and if what Chris Claremont says is true, it even makes financial sense.

Hopefully Disney is able to work something out with 20th Century Fox regarding Fantastic Four. I doubt the situation can change for X-Men as it is too much of a cash cow for Fox.

Have bought comics from various online sources in US and UK over the past 12 years, have not had any issues. Printed materials are not taxable.

Worst case scenario is having to go to the Pejabat Kastam to declare and collect it yourself.

A few times back when I was living in Penang many years ago. They pick parcels randomly and mine had the bad luck to be picked a few times. sad.gif

But after confirming that it's printed materials there are no charges or anything like that. Just walk out with the goods smile.gif

From my experience, need to wait minimum 3 weeks when ordering anything from the US, and may take up to 8-9 weeks to show up. In a few extreme cases, it took more than 3 months to arrive.

3 months quite rare lah, I typically get items from the US between 4-6 weeks. I always opt for the cheapest shipping methods, hence the slowness.

If you want fast, opt for courier service like FedEx or UPS. They cost more, but typically doesn't take more than 3-5 business days to arrive.
