QUOTE(yktan7 @ Jun 28 2014, 11:02 PM) I think it is official, unless they change their mind!! You can check with them when you visit them!! It is official! Alex will be operating out of his home though, lesser costs etc etc. Gotta go over and find out how to deal with him going forward.

QUOTE(Tentarukia @ Aug 15 2014, 12:21 PM) Hey guys, where are you ordering your comics from? Are you getting them shipped from America? Is there an actual store in KL that does subscriptions? I think Comics Corner (near Taylor's College Subang), Comics Mart (in Mid Valley), and Lil' Monsters (somewhere in PJ) are the last remaining brick and mortar comic shops in Malaysia.

I see, wow. Thanks for the info. Actually looked up the Mind Shop, as it *was* the closest to me, seems like that one is gone now too.

So, the new 52 was recently launched and I want to collect Constantine. Out of all the available comic shops out there, which one is a little more weighted on DC?

So, how does one actually get Mylite 2 protective sleeves into Malaysia?
It seems almost impossible.

Bought a bunch of comic books from www.tfaw.com and all the items arrived on time (used the priority shipment, around 8 to 18 days). Though the prices are quite cheap, the shipping isn't so much. A good place to catch up some back issues, variants and collectibles. Recommended for hardcore readers and collectors only.

QUOTE(ricadoe @ Sep 5 2014, 11:20 PM) How many books u bought in order to get value for money shipment? I bought about 12 books (with bags and boards option), and picked parcel priority shipment on checkout. Used a $10 off shipping coupon for purchase above $30 (got it after subscribing the newsletter) for a total of $48.27. I guess it depends on the discount for each of the books, plus how long you're willing to wait for the items to arrive. That been said, the price is almost the same with our local comic shops. But since TFAW got so many different services and products to offer (such as the random comic Grab Bag for 0.50 cents each, Nick & Dent section and plethora of back issues), they would remain as one of my comic book sources.

I also want to get one Hey ric, yeah it's kind of funny how Mylar bags are one of the most sought after things here in Malaysia. That, and acid-free comic book shortboxes. I think well known comic book supplies are a lot rarer than a lot of the rare variants in this country. I've messaged Lil Monsters twice on FB, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I called their store, but nobody picked up unfortunately. Will keep you posted.

you know why ?
becoz the kastam charge a lot for these types of what they categorized as raw materials used for processing furnished goods.
These mylar and boxes are dirt cheap in US but when it comes here its a diffrent story.

Hey Ric, Finally got one of the store owners on the phone today, and they are going to help me place my order of mylites and half-backs. It'll take the goods 2 weeks to come in, but after such a long time searching, pleasantly surprised a local comic store is stockin' them! Thanks for the referral again!
