Wifi will be turned off when the machine goes standby, right?

@littlekev, the wifi will off if u go standby if you choose to do so. Theres an option to set in wifi advance settings.

for me , i set it to never off wifi

Guys,

it is strongly recommend to install cache cleaner apps before thing happened.

I called Asus help desk and ask me to install "cache clean" app.. but I can't install any thing right now. Even thought I free up till 550MB free space...

Very bad news.
My Transformer's touch screen is not functioning after I left it standby for a few hours.
I have to send it back for warranty.

Edit: Quite a no. of Transformer users reported the same experience as me.

sorry to hear that man, so when you boot up your touch screen doesnt respond to any of your commands?

have you tried clearing the market app cache?

550mb free space, did you mistaken ram memory as cache memory?
they're not the same thing just in case you thought cache = ram

yes lotz of ppl having similar problems. including mine. 3.1 update doesnt fix it tho.

no worry, I'm IT guy so no mistake.

under setting - storage it show use 12GB free 8MB ..starting..

then I try delete files/ uninstall apps ... until use 11.xGB .. 550MB free.


the same problem occur to one of the user at bbs.gfan.com

hopefully it wouldn't happened again after the honeycomp 3.1 upgrade

About the speakers , aint stereo is supposed to behave like that ?even on headset u can hear both side is not equal haha
