I have also pre-ordered the Transformer from Asus FB. Only thing that i'm still contemplating whether to pick it up this saturday or not is because of the KDS unavailability. Actually not so much on the unavailability but more on the uncertainty Asus My have left to us who pre-ordered. Many of us would like to get the Transformer and not only the "form" without the "trans" but Asus is keeping their mouth very tight about this(actually they seldom reply in FB which causes potential customer to rage haha). We don't even know if we can top up rm301 at a later stage to purchase the KDS or are we force to pay a premium later since it would be then sold to us as accessories rather than combo package.

Since you obviously have some tali with Asus, mind helping us to clarify on this ?

Thanks for the info. Like i said earlier, i don't mind getting the KDS later but just doesn't like the idea of being "punished" to pay more for giving Asus full supports during the early stage. If what you say is true, then see u guys at Asus MidValley this Saturday !!

I've seen some videos that usb mouse works with the dock, even the wireless logitech mouses works on it haha

anyway, that is some real good news as there are really many out there had the same concern as myself and some already giving up the pre-order because there are no confirmation from Asus Malaysia.

For myself, I'm gonna collect it if they can give a written confirmation about the KDS deal, if not my pre-order slot is up for grab

Anyway got an email from Asus Malaysia saying they waiting for final approval from Taiwan and if it's approved they will announce the keyboard dock deal on fb

I've send them the confirmation hehe, if they don't announce any KDS deal by Saturday then I will not show up at Mid Valley

Simple as that hehe its not mentioned anywhere that u will be prosecuted or fine or anything if u don't fulfill your pre order haha not that I want to but just don't want to be short handed for supporting them

U should compare ipads "UI" with androids Apps drawer cuz that's more relevant

u can always tether it from your smartphone mar ...

although more works needs to be done if the tether is in ad-hoc mode (older android phones)

Dual boot is a great idea but for me the ultimate dual boot I want on transformer is Backtrack 5!!!! That would be dream came true!!

Not really matters ma. Asus already promise 3.1 in June so its possible that by the time galaxy tab reach here,transformer is already updated.

It's pure rubbish if they are charging that 2% for cc usage, common man, they are Asus not any small retailer.

I don't remember any established company charges their customers for the cc charges.

They actually didn't mention before hand. They only mentioned extra charges for epp. The we will see how it goes la haha.

It's funny how Asus Malaysia being so secretive about the "minimal" charges too haha
