awesome review.. now I'm in a dilemma, which i think many of us out there are..
i am one of the first 150 to pre-order the Transformer.. but was tempted with the Iconia's 32GB & standard usb support..
however, I'm still very doubtful over the quality of Acer..
so, now i am still comparing the pros & cons of Transformer vs Iconia. Paper comparison is just crap without first hand experience of the devices.. if u can get your hand on one Iconia, i believe u will be answering the questions for many ppl..
the reason why i am staying away from iPeed2, oops i mean iPad2, is due to lack of flash support, SD card support etc, and I find Iconia has an upper hand in the hardware department even against Transfomer (if we compare the tabs w/o docks).. what do u think?
PS: no i am not an Iconerd or Aceriast, I'm just another guy who wants to make his money worth..

Shahz, since u played with the Iconia too, care to share the experience comparing to Transformer? for example Iconia screen is not as pretty as Transformer, etc.

You guys have no idea how it felt like when the Transformer was controlling the cinema's screen and surround - remotely - without any cables! I fell for the device instantly then  lol i'm sold! |

I wanna sell the cleaning set thingy from the mini hdmi and 8gb micro sd bundle set lol.. do u think if anyone will buy it from me for 10bux?
Anyway issit normal that i am typing faster than the words appearing on this screen? Issit on lowyat forum only?
Also is there an autocorrect/dictionary function? The words appeared too slow..
And i cant seem to download and install flash 10.3 from the marketplace

If I put some video files in the sd card, how can I retrieve them? Do I need to format the card first?

i'm really surprised with the batt life..
anyway has this happened to anyone? when u put it in standby mode for quite some time, it kinda "hanged"..
can't on the tab back.. had to hold the power button to reset it...

Did a search in the xda developer forum, apparently it's a known issue.. they called it the "sleep of death" LOL! i would have called it the sleeping beauty if i discovered it first lol the guy up there posted the same time as me This post has been edited by alexwks: May 29 2011, 08:51 PM |
