Its preinstalled in the Transformer. Its called "PressReader" and it loads the newspaper into "MyLibrary". Both preinstalled.

I just called the Asus Customer service. Was serve by a guy named "Nero" he said during the day if we want the KDS we pay the full amount 1799 and wait for the KDS to arrive in June. If not purchase separately would be 499 for KDS.

But those are just info they told on the phone, no written conformation.

How odd. I spoke a Mr. Chua and he says the KDS is RM 429. He didn't mentioned anything about paying RM 300 upfront for the KDS though.

Let's have everyone call them and ask about the same question. Then we can make a summary lolx.

Although this involve privacy issue, is there any iOS application that can record phone conversation?

do we need to pay for subscribing the newspaper like only free 3 issues then the rest you have to buy it?

They use a system called "credits". There were free 7 credits with the device so I used them up Not sure what happens once you wipe though. I dont mind buying the newspaper really. Its a lot better than buying the paper version anyway.

Tablet and phones are totally different worlds. You can't compare them directly. And remember, this Transformer is wifi only and has no 3G - which means you can't make calls with it. Unless you buy the 3G version which will be released somewhere in the future.

Me no likey pay first get later. I thought of the luxury of testing it first without the keyboard. Should the need arises, I would get it then

Note: I just gave my tablet back to ASUS already. Now we will have to wait till we get our own versions. I believe I'll get mine by Thursday, Friday or probably together with you guys
