Actually, I'm not even sure if I'm buying one cause I've never held the actual unit in my hands before. I was @ All IT LY last weekend to try out the iconia and was sorely disappointed with the screen and the weight. I sure hope the Transformer is better with it's IPS screen.

How odd. I spoke a Mr. Chua and he says the KDS is RM 429. He didn't mentioned anything about paying RM 300 upfront for the KDS though.

I'll be there this Saturday. This will be my first Android tablet so I dunno what to expect. The house already has 3 units of iPad 2. I'm hopefull the Android browser will be much better than the iPads.

I think I'll be there around 10.30am. Register myself, then go grab a bite. Come back later before the Midvalley weekend crowd becomes too crazy.

I'm pretty pleased with how they treat their customer. My unit had a speck of white dirt/dust near the bottom left which was very visible. It's not a dead pixel but a dirt underneath the glass. I took my chances and brought it back to them. Guess what? No questions asked, they replaced another unit for me. Thanks Asus! I'm impressed.

I hope im not going crazy but is anyone noticing audio and video getting out of sync in youtube videos?

Yep,it does look like frames are being dropped.

Just updated mine to 3.1. Typing on LYN seems a bit faster. So far so good. I have light bleed issue on mine but why do I care? I don't use my tablet in pitch black darkness.

YouTube performance is so much improved. 720p videos no longer skip frames.
asus should have released the Transformer with 3.1

I hope this is not a dumb question : How does one access the MicroSD card when the Transformer is connected to a PC/MAC.

I have mine connected to an iMac and nothing shows up. I just wanna transfer some songs into it. Think I'll try a PC after this. Sigh..

Damn, the PC detects the Transformer but the Mac doesn't. Arghhh..this is not happening..
