I'll be there this Saturday. This will be my first Android tablet so I dunno what to expect. The house already has 3 units of iPad 2. I'm hopefull the Android browser will be much better than the iPads.
Better as in?
Personally I feel Safari is crap, well, on the iPhone. It does not resize to fit like Android browser but that's for mobile phone with tiny screen. But if you wanna compare, there will be difference. I do feel Safari probably has limited memory allocation compared to Android browser due to the less RAM in iPad. Even though scrolling is smooth, it takes a slight moment for the scrolled up content to appear on iPad. For Android, there don't seem to be this problem at all. It's just that sometimes when browsing a page filled with Flash content, the scrolling is a bit sluggish at times.
One of the feature I like about Android browser is that you can set load new page in background. iPad load the new link and make it active. Can continue to surf while waiting the background link to load. Finally, of course is FLASH lor. Feel so lonely without it. Task manager also much better in Android.
Since you already had iPad, does not hurt to try Android lor. It's not bad at all. I wanna try iPad cos already had Android phones and lately quite bored with Android and wanna test drive iOS cos never own one before. iPad keyboard is good and smooth but Android has much much better prediction and auto correction. Not to mention the number sits on a different page.
