although more works needs to be done if the tether is in ad-hoc mode (older android phones)

To me, its worth the money spent. It can easily last a few hours of heavy usage and when the battery is down, just plug the USB. Your transformer will have a KDS that has USB remember?

Actually, I'm not even sure if I'm buying one cause I've never held the actual unit in my hands before. I was @ All IT LY last weekend to try out the iconia and was sorely disappointed with the screen and the weight. I sure hope the Transformer is better with it's IPS screen.

is the 3g unit landing this week as well? Been wanting a 3g unit since my xoom only has wifi.

Your sets will come with dock or just tablet..?

Only thing is, I have had hands on with the keyboard already..haha..

In a way, its kinda awesome to put things this way..You get to play with the tablet first, then you get the keyboard later on..That is when you can really identify the difference and advantages of having the keyboard..I swear you guys will appreciate it more Battery life + keyboard usage + everything in the middle..

thanks bro, means i'm stuck with the xoom for now. Anyways how's the overall feel of the device compared to xoom? Xoom is a little on the heavy side and your hand will tire if you hold it long enough.

on paper xoom is 730g while transformer is 680g, not sure if can feel the difference or not, depending on how strong your hands are i guess..haha...transformer should be as "heavy" as ipad 1 which to me after prolonged usage can feel really heavy...guess thats why they have the dock too to reduce the need to hold it too long.

i really interested in this transformer.. but i wish i came wit black color.. will wait for Asus to announce other color for this device.

may i know wat application do u use to dl the star newspaper ? issit pre installed app?
