Explanation from Asus about the KDS:

We hear you, and we truly understand that an Eee Pad Transformer isn't a Transformer if it comes handicapped.

However, it only comes with the tablet for the first batch of stock arriving Malaysia.
In view of that, when the docks arrive in Malaysia somewhere in June, we will give a special offer to our first 150 loyal pre-order customers to buy the docking keyboard at only RM300, instead of RM429.
We shall announce it soon pertaining to this matter. Please stay tuned.

Actually I still don't like Android Tablet version. I want to run multiple programs and view all of them in the same screen. That's what I really want. No way with IOS so I kinda waiting for Google to do it. All we get is a task manager showing the previous few apps launch.

Well... the one you asking should be N900 maemo OS... but it's discontinue already... Don't know if Meego bring the same feature as maemo...

In that condition.. You could have a look on the windows base tablet like Acer Iconia W500...

I already have a Win7 tablet and I dont need detachable keyboard. I have Acer 1825PTZ. If you need Windows, you will need hardware keyboard. So pretty pointless to be detachable.

I'll be there this Saturday. This will be my first Android tablet so I dunno what to expect. The house already has 3 units of iPad 2. I'm hopefull the Android browser will be much better than the iPads.

if u dont watch flash videos and only use the browser, no point buying the transformer actually..unless you prefer the android experience compared to ios in terms of customisability and being able to do almost everything you want. if just surfing net..maybe better stick to ipad 2
